I Am The Beginning and The End
God’s word teaches that the Cosmos, including our tiny Earth, came into existence about six thousand years ago, and will be completely burned up soon, very soon. Holy Bible Gen. Chs. 1-2, 2 Pe. Ch. 3, Rev. Chs. 21, 22.
Our world is coming to The End because of man’s sin and rebellion against The Creator.
“Never mind, it’s not the end of the world”, is a popular idiom, usually accompanied by a compassionate hug from a loved one when there’s an accident or trauma in the home.
It means, “In comparison with The End of the World, this matter is of no significance, so let’s get over it quickly.”
“The End of the World” referred to, is the time when Almighty God in the Flesh, the LORD Jesus Christ, will return and Judge the world in righteousness.
The phrase has entered English usage because of Christ’s words in Matthew’s Gospel (Mtt. 13:49, 28:20) and His description of the prelude to The End given in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. Please read these chapters today. They will help you to understand your daily news.
Bible Signs of The End
In those three chapters of the Holy Bible, God the Son, gives dire warnings of signs of The End of the World, and His Second Coming.
They include; international and civil wars, revolutions, famines, deadly disease epidemics, fearful events, and great earthquakes. Lk. 21:9-11 KJV:
But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by… Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
In addition, Jesus warned there will be many false Christs and End-Time deceivers. Lk. 21:8:
Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
You are Living in the End Times
The world media are struggling to keep pace with a torrent of dramatic events; dozens of wars are currently raging around the globe, a series of remarkable revolutions in the Middle East has transformed nations in days, civil war is destroying Libya, and several other African countries.
Rumours of further wars abound; from Korea, China, and Taiwan, to Pakistan, the Caucasus, and South America.
Seasonal famines are common in East Asia and Africa.
Mankind is stalked by the worldwide curse of deadly pestilence such as; Aids, malaria, TB, and the threat of emerging zoonotic viral plagues.
What is the World Coming To?
Fearful events keep awe-struck journalists busy announcing “breaking news” of; epic “biblical” floods, immense forest fires, and blistering droughts.
Dramatic signs in the skies, such as holes in the atmospheric ozone layer, are causing weather system inversions, tornados, typhoons and hurricanes of increasing severity and frequency.
El Niño Pacific Ocean cycles, melting polar ice-caps and glaciers, record heat waves, snow drifts and deep-chills are everyday news items.
Earthquakes in Christchurch, China, Japan
Five record-breaking earthquakes have struck four nations in less than a month causing massive destruction and loss of life.
Four Japanese nuclear reactors have suffered core meltdown, pumping deadly radioactive contamination into the atmosphere, ocean, and environment.
It can’t get much worse than this, can it? Do these signs mean that The End is upon us?
