Love Each Other?

Q: I’ve grown up in a Baptist home and have always been taught that homosexuality is wrong. But lately I’ve been thinking about it, because my best friend (who I’ve been trying to lead to the Lord for years) has recently told me that she is bisexual.

As I’ve pondered it more and more, I’ve come to the tear-jerking question: What kind of God would limit love, or how people love each other? Dani

God Does Not Lie

We know it is wrong because God says it’s wrong: God is always right.

He’s holy, righteous, just, and perfect in wisdom and knowledge.

Satan and His Children Lie

Unsaved people are; unholy, unrighteous, wicked to the core, spiritually dead, and ignorant.

Their opinions are worthless, their judgments flawed.

What God Says

We want God’s Word, not man’s opinion. Rom. 1:18,24,26-28 KJV;

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; … Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

The Judgment of God

There you have the true word of God about homosexuals, sodomites, and lesbians; perverts are under His wrath, He calls their lusts, vile affections, and declares that they are receiving in themselves the error of their sin.

In addition, God gives them over to their hardened consciences, and they become locked in sinful and futile thinking, living filthy doomed lives.

After death comes the Great White Throne Judgment, followed by eternity in Hell. (Rev. Chs. 20-22)

Walking Away From God

By asking; What kind of God would limit love, or how people love each other? It is clear that you are venturing in darkness and confusing what sinners call “love” ie. romance, lust, sex, feelings, and sentiment, with real love, divine love.

You are taking a dangerous tangent away from the narrow path, thinking and talking like sinners talk, and judging God by your own unholy standard.

Repent and get right with Christ, renew your mind according to God’s word and everything will become clear. Rom. 12:1-2 KJV;

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Altogether Different

God’s love is light years from what sinners term “love”.

Divine love is not a more intense form of human love, it’s altogether different, in a class of its own. It’s the first thing a person notices when they meet the Living Christ.

The Four Kinds of Love

The Greek New Testament word for God’s love is agape.

This is the sacrificial love of giving yourself to a person because you value and esteem them. “For God so loved (agapao) that he gave...” “God is love (agape)”.

Love is God’s nature and character.

Agape: Divine Love

The modern meaning of “charity” is shallow, limited to kindness and altruistic donation, but in 1 Co. Ch. 13 of the KJV we see charity is far broader than that, and rightly describes God’s love.

It is a beautiful prescription and summation of divine agape love, 1 Co. 13:4-8a KJV;

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth:

Fallen man does not have agape love, it only comes from God: Sinners do not know it. The first time they encounter agape in a Christian stranger, they are shocked to the marrow.

It is not of this world. It is not of the human heart: It is Divine.

Pagan Love

Pagan Greek writers rarely used the word agape because this kind of love was unknown to them. They didn’t have it, nor did they experience it.

Instead, they used three other words for “love”;

stergein the innate, natural love of parents for offspring, which even animals possess.
They wrote of phileo love; the tender affection, or fondness, between friends, family members, and so on.
However their favourite word for love was eros, erotic love, it signifies sexual passion, and lust. Steady Doris!

Agape love has nothing to do with; romance, sex, or lust: Nothing.

You can see that what homosexuals describe as “love”, can only ever be one of the pagan forms, not the love of God.

Therefore, it follows that when a homosexual tries to show “love”, it can never be the agape love of God.

Self-Condemned

To answer your question directly; God doesn’t “limit how homosexuals love”, they limit themselves to; stergein, phileo, and eros, because they reject the agape love of God in Christ.

The physical perversions by which they express their unrighteousness, are self-condemning, as God has already warned.

Homosexuality is a certain path to Hell.

Christ Himself confirms in the final book of the Holy Bible. Rev. 21:8 KJV that all the sexually immoral are Hell-bound. Remember, this is the LORD Jesus Christ speaking;

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake of fire which burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.

The Greek words used for abominable and whoremongers, encompass in meaning all the sexually immoral, including every homosexual.

There will be no homosexuals in Heaven.

God judges them with the eternal punishment they deserve for their sin and rebellion.

The Only Hope for Homosexuals

Deliver Us From Evil: Is a clear level-headed account of how the Lord introduced a minister to the Deliverance Ministry. Anybody involved in a homosexual lifestyle will need deliverance ministry, and this is a good introduction.

God loves your homosexual friend, and wants to deliver her from perversion, and the evil seducing spirits that control her. He wants to put His agape love in her heart.

When she repents and receives Christ, the Lord of Love, only then will she be able to experience what real love is, and show it to others. She will repent of homosexuality, and walk in obedience and holiness with Christ.

Beware of Corrupted Flesh

Keep in mind the words of divine warning in Jude 17-23 KJV;

But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

God does not leave us guessing what His will for us is. He tells us plainly in His word, and leads us in all the details of life by the Holy Spirit in a believer’s heart. Discover how to Know God’s Will and become sensitive to His leading in your life.
