    Q: I’ve read your article, When Are Our Bodies Redeemed?, where you state that believers are redeemed now, but what about Ephesians 4:30 KJV;

    And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

    Are you saying the Day of Redemption has already come, because that verse sounds like it is still in the future?

    A: Thank you for an excellent thoughtful question. Prepare to receive blessings from the Holy Spirit as He reveals the written word of God.

    The article, When Are Our Bodies Redeemed? concerns Romans 8:23 which uses the phrase waiting for the redemption of our body, and how modern “Bibles” have corrupted God’s Holy written word to deceive Christians into assuming they have to wait for their redemption and physical healing.

    They don’t.

    Test The spirits

    But let’s first consider; who would want to prevent believers from enjoying benefits of their Blood-bought Redemption now, by suggesting they have to wait until they enter heaven before they receive their redemption and healing?

    Would it be God the Father, whom the Holy Ghost writing in Psalms 103 reminds us centuries before Christ came, who healeth all thy diseases?

    Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Psalms 103:2-3 KJV

    Of course not! For Psalms 107 declares He sent His word, and healed them.

    Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

    Psalms 107:19-20 KJV

    Would He who gave His Only Begotten Son to redeem mankind, then make believers WAIT for their redemption and healing? Nay, not our merciful Heavenly Father!

    Would it be the Holy Spirit, who wrote in 1 Pe. 2:24 that believers in Christ Have Been Healed. Past tense, not future tense.

    Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

    Could it be The LORD Jesus Christ… who healed every sick person immediately they came to Him believing. Did He ever refuse healing? No. Did He tell anybody to wait for healing until they die, and go to Heaven? Never. Mtt. 12:15b, 15:30, 19:2, 21:14 KJV;

    …and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them ALL;[Caps added]

    And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:

    And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

    And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

    The Saviour healed them all spiritually and physically, because salvation includes healing for your body now.

    Who then proposes that believers have to wait for their redemption and physical healing?

    That’s right, your enemy: Satan, and his false teachers.

    Hear The Truth

    Read this scripture in the Holy Ghost asking The LORD to open your spiritual ears to His eternal truth, and you’ll never fall for such unbelieving doctrine. Eph. 1:1-14 KJV;

    Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

    Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

    In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

    In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

    In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

    You Have Been Redeemed

    God has come, in Christ, and has already redeemed every person who has ever lived, and who will ever live: Because His Sacrifice is our eternal redemption. GLORY!

    You were redeemed even before you were created and born, but it was of no effect until you heard the Gospel, and repented of unbelief in The LORD Jesus Christ. That was the moment you became a child of God, and He lifted you out of the Devil’s realm and put you in Christ Jesus. 1 Cor. 1:30-31, Col 1:14 KJV;

    But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

    In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

    Establish that Holy Bible fact in your heart once and for all, otherwise you’ll wobble, question and doubt, instead of confidently rejoicing in your perfect eternal redemption in Christ.

    The Mind of Christ

    Embrace the mind of Christ, Think Like God Does, and say what His written word says about you, not what unbelieving preachers, and tradition, tells you, but what the Holy Ghost has written for you now.

    For example; As a born again believer in The LORD Jesus Christ you know you have been redeemed because it is written, 1 Peter 1:18-21 kJV;

    Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

    You were redeemed by the Precious Blood of Christ shed for you 2,000 years ago, He paid your sin debt, and bore your guilt once and for all. Christ has redeemed you from the power of the enemy: Satan.

    As was written under the Old Covenant, and note the past tense hath redeemed;

    Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

    Psalms 107:2 KJV

    Since the believer in God’s word was redeemed under the Old Covenant “type” of animal blood, how much more certain are New Covenant believers redeemed now who trust in the once-and-for-all Sacrifice of Father’s Only Begotten Son: God’s Word made Flesh.

    Christ’s Resurrection = Proof of Redemption = Peace

    Therefore, His resurrection proves born again believers are justified, Guiltless in God’s Sight, and by faith in Him we have peace with Father God because of what Jesus Christ has accomplished for us.

    As it is written of the New Covenant in His Blood; Romans 4:25-5:1 KJV;

    Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

    When Is The Day?

    You ask about the Day of Redemption mentioned in Ephesians 4:30 KJV;

    And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

    Are you saying the Day of Redemption has already come, because that verse sounds like it is still in the future?

    The Day of Redemption is in the future, it has not yet come, because it refers to Christ’s appearing to believers at the forthcoming Rapture, spoken of here, Col. 3:2-4 KJV;

    Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

    And here, 1 Pe. 5:4 KJV;

    And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

    And here, 1 Jn. 2:28 KJV;

    And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

    And most descriptively here, 1 Thess. 4:16-17 KJV;

    For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

    The Day of Redemption is when Christ appears in the air, to resurrect and take up those who died in Christ, then those believers who remain alive until that Day are transfigured and are caught up with them.

    This glorious event precedes His Second Coming, when Christ returns to Earth to conquer, reign, and Judge the world. (See Mtt. 16:27-28, 24:30, 25:31-46, Mk. 13:26, Lk. 21:27, Ac.1:11, 2 Thess. 1:7-10, Rev. 22:12,20. KJV)

    Therefore, the Day of Redemption refers to Christ retrieving those who have already been redeemed.

    The full price of eternal redemption was paid at Calvary, that is when believers were redeemed, but He waits until all those who will repent and believe in His Sacrifice are; born, hear the Gospel, believe and are born again in Christ, who collectively make up the Body of Christ on Earth.

    Every believer is a member of one body, united in Christ Jesus.

    That is the body to be redeemed on the Day of Redemption.

    Singular, One body, not bodies, as modern “Bibles” mistranslate it, and thereby rob Christians of scriptural knowledge of their eternal redemption.

    Now that you understand, with confidence in The Faith of Christ you too can declare;

    I was redeemed by the precious Blood of Christ shed for me 2,000 years ago, God in the Flesh paid my sin debt, and bore my guilt once and for all. Christ has redeemed me now from all the power of the enemy: Satan.

    As it was written, even under the Old Covenant, Psalms 107:2 KJV;

    Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

    Let Heaven and Earth hear you declare your redemption constantly until He appears for us. AMEN
