More Corrupted Compromise “Bibles”
Q: What is your opinion of the New King James Version, and the KJV 2016?
A: I defy the motivation and spirit of anybody who wishes to change the perfect written words of God in English: The KJV: The text which Almighty God has confirmed, for over four centuries, to be His precise words in my mother-tongue.
He uses those words to softly convict sinners of their need of salvation, drawing them gently to The Living LORD Jesus Christ, His words bring revival to moribund fellowships, He confirms His words with signs, wonders, & miracles, and with them, The Holy Ghost still inspires believers to take the Gospel to the ends of the Earth.
Let’s Change God’s Words and Copyright Them
The New King James Version (NKJV) publisher, Thomas Nelson, conspired to change the text of the 1769 KJV (AV, KJB) in order to satisfy copyright authorities that their “new and improved” translation was sufficiently different from the KJV that they could claim ownership of exclusive copyright, and thus profit from selling their NKJV.
And change it they did.
Needlessly introducing over a hundred thousand word changes, and perverting the meaning of hundreds of scriptures in the process. (See Will Kinney’s excellent article The New King James Version Word Changes for more detail.)
The dual motive was to pile up mammon, and divert believers from God’s inerrant words to man’s words found in modern bibles.
Two “Cambridge Apostles” Fix God’s Word
The NKJV translators possess diabolic opinions of the KJV, and see the NKJV as a bridge to lure KJV readers to use modern bible translations; all of which are corrupted because they’re based on the demonically inspired critical texts of Westcott, Hort, Nestle, Aland et al.

Dubliner FJ. Hort
Westcott & Hort were two of the founding “Cambridge Apostles”. Hort devised a secret oath each “apostle” had to keep for life.
The males-only secret society became infamous down the decades for harbouring notorious spies, sodomites, and traitors, such as; Sir Anthony Blunt, Guy Burgess, Michael Whitney Straight, and John Cairncross.

Of such is the chosen milieu enjoyed by the compilers of the “Critical Text” upon which modern bibles are based.
Westcott and Hort’s 1880’s Revised Version (RV) was ridiculed and rejected by Christendom, and failed to usurp the KJV as they had intended.
However, the Critical Text they compiled, based on the Alexandrian cult texts, Vaticanus and Sinaiticus, is still the text used by translators of all modern bibles in preference to the divinely validated Traditional Received text.
Rubbish In: Rubbish Out
The NKJV has abundant textual errors, and aberrations, in addition to spurious footnotes which cast doubt on the Received Text (Bomberg Masoretic and Beza’s Textus Receptus) and promoting the errors of Prussian textual criticism.
Thomas Nelson Inc. falsely claim the NKJV is “more accurate than the KJV”, thus pointing readers away from God’s inerrant written words delivered to us in the KJV.
For these, and many other reasons I do not recommend anyone use the NKJV at all.
It’s 2016 Man, Let’s Modernize God’s Lingo
You ask about the KJV 2016, which uses colloquial English vocabulary, and is claimed to be based on the Greek Textus Receptus and Masoretic Hebrew texts used by the KJV Translators. (There’s a KJV 2023 edition on sale now, so has it already been changed?)
Why risk altering God’s words?
Paraphrasing God’s written words verbally in your personal evangelism, to get Christ’s simple gospel message over is acceptable.
Father loves to work with His children who are sharing His love and message.
Your testimony is precious to Father, but for; Bible study, preaching, teaching, discipleship, and sound learning, we must have the divinely endorsed words of God: Man’s words simply won’t do.
Truth is a serious matter, not a plaything for spiritual novices.
Excuse me, “How Do I Get To…”
If a person asks for directions to a particular street, it’s generally sufficient to wave an arm, with brief instructions;
“Go that way, take the first right, and then left at the second traffic lights.”
But when anyone is serious about knowing how to please God, and walk in lifelong fellowship with Him, they must use God’s Book with The Author’s exact words for the genuine instructions, and teachings He’s committed to mankind.
“She’ll Be Right Mate!”
What would you think of an airline pilot flying around the world, who asks a friend to sketch out the route on an envelope for him to follow?
Naturally, you’d prefer a pilot who takes the genuine approved charts, accurate navigation data, and tested communication aids, before risking your life in his hands.
What’s a Dictionary Mate?
The KJV is written in the King of king’s English, and with a little studious application, is not difficult to understand.
Are believers today unable to learn Bible English, too lazy to expand their knowledge and develop their vocabulary?
Those who’ve ceased learning see no point in reading books, they prefer spoon-fed TV entertainment, computer videos, & photo-magazines; suchlike are self-condemned and doomed.
Leave them to wallow in the fleeting pleasures of sin and self-indulgence.
In the foreword of the KJV 2016 the self-appointed author/editor writes, “This new Bible does not seek to replace the original King James Version, it was made to replace modern translations based on corrupt manuscripts.”
But if people use his radically re-written paraphrase, it will indeed be usurping the perfectly accurate, and divinely endorsed KJV, which ought to be in their hands instead of modern versions.
Keep MY WORDS Don’t Make Up Your Own!
He also declares,
“The Word of God is unchanging from generation to generation, but our language is a dynamic and ever changing form of communication. We therefore have a responsibility before God as Christians to make sure that each generation has a modern translation that they can easily understand, yet that does not sacrifice accuracy in any way. With all this in mind the King James Version 2016 seeks to continue the work of updating the Bible into the language of today.”
That is hubris worthy of the Serpent in Eden; it’s the same strategy, and for the same purpose.
Adam was commanded to keep the garden, Genesis 2:15 KJV;
And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
Adam should have used his authority to throw the lying serpent out of the garden forever, instead of siding with Satan in perverting God’s words.
My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.
Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.Proverbs 7:1-2 KJV
All believers are to keep God’s words, Jn. 14:21 KJV;
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
The Editor of the KJV 2016 believes each new generation of Christians is obliged to make a new vernacular translation for their generation, to help the poor things comprehend what God says and means.
What a convenient strategy for Satan to manipulate and twist God’s written words.
God Chose Tables of Stone
When the Finger of God first conveyed His written words to mankind, He set them in stone. Exodus 24:12 KJV;
And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
Contemplate the significnce of those words: … tables of stone.., which I have written… teach THEM.
Forever Settled in Heaven: Ever Mutable by Man on Earth!
For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Psalm 119:89 KJV
Bible believers are chastised for neglecting to honour God’s oracles, ie. The words He has spoken and written. Hebrews 5:12-14 KJV;
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
God’s words validate themselves, and their source, by usage, Jn. 7:16-17 KJV;
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
Reject All Imposters
We don’t need any new translation of the Holy Bible in English ever again: We already have His inerrant written words in English: Humble yourself and accept that Holy Bible fact.
Seek The Author’s mind, which is the best English translation of His written words.
Ask your Heavenly Father for the truth, please don’t run around asking fallible men: Seek God in sincere prayer yourself, and He will point you to The KJV PCE.
Back to Primeval Slime
The NKJV, KJV 2016 and KJV 2023 will quietly sink back down into the swamp from which they apparently “evolved”, along with Darwin’s fantasy.
