    Unheard of Today

    How many sermons have you heard about the faith of Christ? Not enough, probably none, and that is scandalous: Here’s why.

    Faith in Christ

    Preachers froth and spit trying to get people to have faith in Christ, and rightly so, because you will remain condemned to Hell, and die in your sins, unless you believe in Christ. Jn. 3:14-18 KJV;

    And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

    He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

    We switch from the Devil’s family to God’s when we receive Christ by faith; Gal. 3:26 KJV;

    For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

    That’s why we major on having faith in Christ.

    But there is further blessing when you understand, and trust in, the faith of Christ.

    Completely Different

    Many Christians don’t know the difference between the two, and so they only use the expression, “faith in Christ”, assuming it means the same as the “faith of Christ”: It doesn’t.

    In fact, the two phrases are light-years apart in meaning, and those who count them identical forfeit a precious Bible truth that is the Foundation of our Faith.

    Faith of Christ

    Here’s the Holy Spirit using the phrase, the faith of Christ. Rom. 3:22 KJV;

    Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

    Modern Bible versions translate it wrongly; “by faith in Jesus Christ”. The whole verse is distorted, losing its true meaning, and repeating itself in an illogical fashion. Once you’ve understood what the faith of Christ means you will see this clearly.

    Let’s look at Gal. 2:16 KJV;

    Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

    This glorious scripture establishes the foundational truth of the Gospel that modern Bible versions obliterate by using “faith in Christ”, in place of the correct “faith of Christ“. God’s word declares here that man can only be justified by the faith of Christ, never by the Law: Notice particularly, not by faith in Christ, but by the faith of Christ.

    Now let’s examine Gal. 2:20 KJV;

    I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

    The Holy Ghost wrote that Paul is (and all believers are) crucified with Christ, and that we now live by the faith of the Son of God. He does not write that we live because we have faith in Christ; no, God the Holy Ghost wrote that we live by the faith of the Son of God. Which is altogether different, as you will see. Modern Bibles get this verse wrong, so only KJV users can possibly understand this phrase correctly.

    Another example is Gal 3:22 KJV;

    But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

    Modern Bibles mistranslate this, making God’s Spirit erroneously repeat Himself, and trading a divine truth for treacherous tautology, thus; “that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.”

    Can you see how inept this makes God’s word? If not, keep reading and you will after you grasp what the faith of Christ means.

    Here’s another example in Phil 3:9 KJV;

    And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

    Notice God’s order; a believer’s righteousness comes through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. This verse opens our eyes to glimpse the glory. The KJV gets it right: The rest get it wrong.
