How did Born-Again Christianity begin?
God came in the Flesh and brought the message;
Ye must be born again. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Holy Bible, Jn. 3:7, Acts 4:12 KJV
The LORD Jesus Christ is God in the Flesh. He came to redeem mankind from sin, sickness, and Hell. To do that, He willingly paid your debt to God once and for all.
He laid down His sinless life, to give you His Life.
On the third day He arose from death to prove your sin has been paid for. Then He sealed a New Covenant in His Blood, to guarantee you New Life, God’s Life, eternal Life, when you turn from unbelief and believe in Christ as your Lord and saviour.
When any sinner receives Christ in this way, they become spiritually new inside. They are spiritually born again. Their spirit is united with God’s Spirit, and they begin to walk with Him, at peace, and in love with Jesus.

Where Is Being Born Again in the Bible?
To be born of God is the call of Christ’s preaching on Earth. It was the focus of His ministry. That’s why, when asked by a religious man about the basics, He said to Nicodemus in John Chapter 3 KJV;
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
We need this experience because we are all born sinful in heart, children of the devil, not children of God.
To be born again is to be born of God’s Spirit; the Holy Spirit. Only then do we become children of God.
It is a New Covenant blessing that was not available to anyone before Christ came and paid for our redemption.
The apostles emphasized the only way to come to God is by being born again through genuine heart faith in The LORD Jesus Christ. It is a distinct instantaneous experience. John wrote of being born again in several places (Jn. 3:5,7, 1 Jn. 3:9, 4:7, 5:1, 5:4, 5:18), so did Peter (1 Pe. 1:23).
Who Began the Born Again Idea?
It is God’s idea. He conceived it as the heart of His Plan to redeem all who repent and believe in His Only Begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
God prophesied His coming, and Jesus fulfilled the prophecies, making the experience available to every person right now. Have you been Born Again?
