Confidence Divine
When we walk in loving obedience, God imparts unshakeable confidence and assurance by the anointing within, the witness of the Holy Ghost.
We have the peace and joy of Heaven inside.
Demons sense your approach and get nervous, because when you turn up, so does God.
And when the LORD, The Captain of our salvation arrives, everything changes.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love
This assurance and confidence wanes if you break the integrity of your walk with God.
You have the word, you have the Spirit, but you must also have fidelity, honour, and truthfulness in your relationship with the LORD.
Unfeigned Love
This is why He repeatedly warned us against the Devil’s yeast of hypocrisy. (Lk. 12:1, Mtt. 23:28)
The Holy Ghost reminds us to be true, sincere, and fervent in love for God and mankind, 1 Pe. 1:22 KJV;
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
It is essential to remain true to His word, and Spirit, from our hearts, in love, or the rot sets in.
Why Do We Love?
We are lovers.
We are true lovers.
We walk in fidelity.
We trust each other completely.
He trusts me: So I trust in Him.
Be ye Perfect
We do what He wants because He loves us, therefore we love Him in return.
To obey is our duty, but when our motive for obeying is sincere love for Him: This is the perfect heart.
Some obey because they know it is the word, their responsibility, obligation, and their example to others.
They do well, but miss perfection because they do not obey from love.
For them obedience becomes a burden, a chore, hard-going.
The love is missing.
There is a River
Do right because you love Him who loves you, and you’ll be in the midst of the River of Life that flows from the Throne of God. (Rev. 22:1)
Effortlessly carried along by the power and grace of God.
That is where His grace is sufficient for you.
Faith, Hope & Charity
Let’s apply that thought to 1 Co. 13:13 KJV;
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
- Faith is the doing, the action of obeying.
- Hope is for the future, the joy of partaking in the Second Coming, and all that follows.
- Charity is the motive for the faith and hope. We give our love freely to God, and to mankind, because of God’s unconditional love for us.
Modern Bibles wrongly substitute the word love for charity, and in so doing lose a vital characteristic of divine love.
For God so loved the world He gave…
Love gives.
Give love.
…the greatest of these is charity.
