How God Works
E W. Kenyon was the first preacher since Paul to point out that God is a faith God: Whatever He does is by faith, through His word.
Isn’t that the truth Saints?
Look at the sunlight, or moonlight, above you now.
Where does it come from, how did it form?
Science can’t offer even half an answer.
Scientists mutter about it arising from nuclear fusion in the Sun, and if you dare to ask where the Sun came from, they will sheepishly tell you it was most likely from a Big Bang.
Don’t laugh, this is serious science!
The Bible tells the truth, Ge. 1:3, Heb. 11:3 Holy Bible, KJV;
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
God spoke the universe and light into being by faith. When God says, Let there be… He exercises faith that there will be, and there is.
Faith in The Word
That is why when He came in person He taught all believers to have faith in God’s word, and to exercise the God kind of faith, Mk. 11:22-24;
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
That is clear enough. It’s the same divine principle at work.
This is God’s method, and all believers are commanded to follow it.
He calls things that are not, as though they were, and they become! (See Ro. 4:17)
That is how you walk in faith.
God is not a Heretic
Don’t listen to nay sayers who try to tell you this is a new ‘Word of Faith Movement‘. It isn’t new, and it isn’t a movement:
It is the word of God.
It is the way He works.
It is the how of faith.
Come on you Saints!
E. W. Kenyon didn’t start it, because it has no beginning and no end, it’s God’s nature in action.
You must learn to speak and act in faith, not hope, but faith, and understand God’s definition of faith, Heb 11:1 KJV;
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
We are sure and certain of what we do not see. So confident we act on it because it is ours now.
Expressing Faith
And please don’t forget the love aspect too, Gal. 5:6 KJV;
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Faith is the how, love is the why!
They are interdependent.
He said, Jn. 14:15 KJV;
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
When you obey His commands in love you will see Bible blessing and results.
You will proclaim the Full Gospel of Redemption through faith in Christ. You will lay your hands on the sick, and they will recover. You will command demon spirits to go in Jesus’ Name, and they will leave.
You will see Christ’s promise made real in your daily walk, Jn. 14:14 KJV;
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Shielded by Faith
Because you’ve comprehended the how of faith, you also know that God’s power shields you by faith. You are immune to Satan’s barbs of sickness, and disease because the Blood of Christ was poured out to save you.
It is enough.
Oh the Power in The Blood of Jesus!
Poor Devil… believers are out of his reach.
Doubters fall into his grasp, but believers stand on his neck through faith in Christ’s Victory.
Where is Satan?
Don’t you love that story of the defeat of the five kings in Joshua 10?
Joshua was a ‘type’ of Christ, and the defeated Amorite kings ‘types’ of Satan and demons.
Joshua had sealed them in a cave ready for the time of their judgment, he commanded them to be brought out, and what did he do? He summoned the army commanders, a ‘type’ of believers Jo. 10:24b-25 KJV;
Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them. And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.
Then Joshua slew the enemy kings personally, and hung their bodies on trees.
Come on you Saints!
When Christ was hung on a tree in your place, He was made sin for you (2 Co. 5:21) and completely destroyed the power of your enemy once and for all.
He has put your foot on Satan’s neck.
Rub it in, and use your God given authority over the defeated foe under your feet. Fear not for Christ is with you always. Your enemy is conquered, eternally.
