    Part 1

    Now I suppose I ought to say something that may help you. We hear preachers saying;

“Everybody’s going to have to face Judgment, and you’re going to have to give account for every word, every deed you ever did.”

And people tremble, and think of all the bad things they have done.

I don’t, I think of all the good things. I think of all the nice things I’ve said to people all over the world. But, you see, people are condemnation conscious. They think of all their bad deeds.

I have an Advocate who makes up for all my bad deeds and words, and I’ll give an account of all the good ones. Alleluia!

By that I mean, when I stand before Him, He sees me through Jesus Christ, and all the bad things are already taken care of. They are not on the record. Are you hearing me?

I know, this contradicts what you have always harboured in your heart. And I don’t want to mess up anyone’s ‘religion’.

Are you worried about standing before God? Are you concerned about it?

Oh John says we can have confidence before Him. You bet.

I have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous One.

He took away my sins, paid for me. I joined alliance with Him. He stands for me.

Everything I do down here I do in His Name. Everything He does up there, He does in my name.

We have a cohesion that no demon, no condemnation… on Earth or in Hell is going to break, a wonderful union between me and my Saviour.

And don’t you think for one minute He will dessert me when I stand lonely before God on the Day.

He’s there, He represents me. Alleluia. And I’ll give account for all the good things I’ve done, and the good words I’ve spoken. I will not be judged for my sins, never, never, never!

Jesus went to the Cross, and was judged for my sins, and I will never be judged for my sins. But I will be there to be rewarded for all the good deeds I’ve done.

My Judgment is passed. Yours may be at the Throne of God, mine was at the Cross!

I understand, you find that too good to be true, but it is true anyhow. Alleluia!

When I stand before Him, there will be no guilt charged to me. No. Never, never, not withstanding my mistakes and shortcomings, but they are made up for by my Advocate. Because as quick as they happen, I’m sensitive, the Holy Spirit in me lets me know,

“You boo-booed. That wasn’t right. You spoke an unkind word.”

And I say “Father, I’m sorry!” As soon as it happens, and it’s gone. That keeps the record clear. Glory to God.

No, I’ll never stand before God to be judged for my sins, not any, not mistakes, not errors, little ones or big ones, no. Never, I have peace with God because I have been made just-as-if-I’d never done it, forever.

Cleansed by the Blood of God’s One and Only Son.

I’m not sin conscious, I’m conscious of my righteousness. For a price has been paid for my sins, and I confess them to Him, “I’m sorry.” He forgives me, it’s blotted out it’s not on the record. He, my Advocate keeps my record clear, because I keep my connection with my Advocate. This is peace, peace, peace. Alleluia. Life. Peace with God.

God’s idea was to come in Jesus and live in us… I embrace Him, I believe in Him. Jesus Christ lives in me.

Religion spiritualises God: Jesus Humanised God.

Religion frightens and intimidates, keeps us crawling as worms in the dust, as long as we allow it to.

But, if we ever accept our justification through Christ, we become invincible.

We didn’t do it. It doesn’t depend upon how much we pray. He did it all for me. I just found out about it, and embraced it, and said,

“I like it, count me in.”

And God said, “It’s a deal. Yes.”

The Devil knows everybody who has made that deal with God. He knows you as far as he can smell you, and he fears you. But, he is a liar, and an accuser, and he’ll try to trick you and bluff you, if he can.

So we must embrace our status in Christ all the time whether we feel like it or not. Feelings have nothing to do with it.

You feel powerful? Forget it, you’ll collapse in a heap. Any demon in town can intimidate you.

When a judge announces the verdict, and passes sentence, his feelings have nothing to do with the facts of the matter.

He may be feeling mad, glad or sad, but when the gavel falls, he announces the Law from the Book, and it is so. That’s the way it is when we face the Devil and demons, and problems.

Our faith in God is based upon facts, redemptive facts of what Christ has accomplished on the Cross, on our behalf. No demon in Hell can change it, and I epitomise the whole deal, Alleluia. And you do too.

If I ever have to face Judgment for my sins then Jesus died in vain.

Righteousness. Peace with God. Embrace it. Believe in it!

“I belong to Jesus. He belongs to me.”

Take your stand, make your decision, and never contradict it, keep believing.

Pray this prayer with all your heart:

Lord Jesus, Thank you for making it possible for me to be saved. I call upon you to forgive all of my sins. I believe that you are God’s Son who died in my place, and rose from the dead according to the Scriptures. I accept you as my personal Saviour. I receive you into my life as Lord. Thank you for saving me now. Amen
