Suicide in the Last Days

Perilous Times

Self-idolisation, depression, and self-murder will become commonplace as the Final Day approaches. Christians are warned to be ready, and told how to deal with it, 2 Tim. 3:1-9 KJV;

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

These are the words of Father’s warning to His children, which are being fulfilled in your neighbourhood, even in that which purports to be Christian.

Obedient children are to turn away from suchlike, their folly is plain, their sin obvious to all men.

At Liberty to Choose

Christians are free from demonic bondage to choose what we believe and do, with the knowledge that we will soon give account to The LORD Jesus Christ at His coming: Those who obey His word are blessed and rewarded, those who disobey His word are cast into everlasting fire. See Mtt. Ch. 25

Are you believing and doing His word?

Do a self-check, examine your life, see if you actually measure up to what God has instructed us to be busy doing until He returns. Remembering we are saved by His Grace, not by our works, but His children are busy fulfilling His word because they love Him.

What about ‘Christians’ who Kill Themselves?

We occassionally come across cases of recovering drug addicts, manic depressives, the mentally deranged, and those caught up in the occult, appearing to become Christian, but who ultimately commit suicide.

It will get more common as the half-hearted, and double-minded, are overcome by temptation and difficult circumstances instead of overcoming through Christ.

How does God judge them?

It’s not difficult; exactly as He said He would, in His written word, the Holy Bible KJV.

Those who claim to be followers of Christ, who take their own life for whatever reason; drug addiction, pill-popping, depression, failed romance, physical pain, hopelessness etc., have made the ultimate statement of rejection of Christ.

They have rejected; Him, His word, His Life, His Spirit, His leading, His Blood, and His Name: They are goats, not sheep, and are cast into everlasting fire along with Satan and his angels. Mtt. 10:32-33 KJV;

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

King Saul did a lot of confessing God before men, even prophesying on occasion, but ultimately took his own life, and thereby alas sealed his eternal destiny. I Samuel 31:4 KJV

Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.

David grieved “how the mighty are fallen” over Saul’s death 2 Sam. 1.

He That Shall Endure

Christ taught that only those who endure shall be saved, Mk. 13:13 KJV;

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Not for Wimps and Sinners

Persecution is the believer’s lot.

Wimps follow the world, and perish: Believers follow Christ to the end, and live.

It’s not only how you run the race: What also matters is how you finish.

Virgins Gone Shopping

There were ten virgins waiting for the Bridegroom’s return, but only five were wise and present at His coming, the five foolish virgins out shopping for oil were eternally locked from His Presence. (See Mtt. Ch. 25 and be certain you remain Spirit-filled.)

But Didn’t Christ Die for Us?

It’s no use grieving relatives excusing a supposed ‘Christian’ suicide, by pointing to Christ sacrificing Himself for others, in choosing to die on the Cross for our sins.

Halleluia that He did, otherwise we’d all be cast outside, where there’s wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Understand that Christ did not commit suicide, nor choose to take His own Life: The Romans crucified Him at the urging of the Jews, on our behalf.

Christ permitted you and me to crucify Him. (Ask Him to show you who hammered the nails, and worship Him you saints.)

Jesus required specific permission from Father to lay down His sinless life: Otherwise no man could have taken it from Him: Ever! Jn. 10:17-18 KJV;

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Suicide is Always of The Devil

Reject all thoughts of suicide, they never come from the Holy Ghost, but always from seducing demons.

Suicide is self-murder: The ultimate denial of Christ’s will for that person.

Suicide is the Devil’s fast-track, short-cut, ticket to Hell-Fire.

Suicide is plain cowardice, and no fearful person has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Heaven. Christ Himself said so after His Resurrection, Rev. 21:6-8 KJV;

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

And the saints of God shout Halleluia AMEN!

But isn’t Suicide Denying Yourself?

No, it is the precise opposite of denying yourself, and directly contradicts Christ. Mtt. 16:24-26 KJV;

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Committing suicide is not denying yourself, it is choosing your own will and rejecting God’s will.

Following your own will in this life is idolatry, self-idolisation, just as much as the overt idolatry of Buddhism, Hinduism, Atheism, Muslim stone-worshippers, and the Catholic cult.

Real Christians Flee idolatry

Follow Christ, The Divine Shepherd, who laid down His sinless life to redeem you from sin, sickness, demons and Hell, who declared, Jn. 10:10-11 KJV;

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Embrace His Life and you will begin to truly live.
