Stop Guessing: Start Believing!
David rejoiced in the victories the LORD had given him, Psalm 119:105, 2 Sam 22:29-30 KJV;
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
Whilst He was in the world, Christ proclaimed Himself to be the light of the world. Jn. 9:5 KJV;
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
He represented Almighty God on Earth, demonstrating His victorious love, grace, will, and power in all He said and did.
Then He ordained the members of His Body as His ambassadors.
As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you
Your purpose is to do Father’s Will in Jesus’ Name. Mtt. 5:14-16 KJV;
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Ever since His Resurrection, and Pentecost; Christ’s earthly ministry has belonged to the Church; not to any organization, but to each born again believer.
The LORD Jesus Christ has authorised believers to act in His Name down here until He returns. He summed it up in Mtt. 28:18-20 KJV
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Mk. 16:15-20 tells us more;
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Mercy Rejoiceth Against Judgment
Contemplate such honour.
God conquers His worst enemies by patiently teaching them His ways. Despite their rebellion, whilst they were yet hating Him, He paid their debt in full, once and for all. God in The Flesh bore their sin, guilt, diseases, and shame, to offer eternal redemption through a New Covenant sealed with His own Blood.
The condition; believe in My Word: The LORD Jesus Christ.
We turn from unbelief and rebellion; We receive redemption, mercy, and eternal life, simply by trusting in what The LORD Jesus Christ has accomplished for each one of us.
That is majestic grace, which He magnifies by calling us to take His place on Earth, representing Him to a fallen world.
All You Need
With this precious inherited right, He supplies everything we need to fulfil it, His Life and Spirit; the power, authority, faith, boldness, courage, the words, and most importantly: His Love shed abroad in our hearts guiding us;
Few Christians have understood or used the authority given to them by Christ. Rev. Hagin’s book is an excellent introduction to Exercising Authority in Spiritual Warfare.
The Light Inside
Psalm 119:105 KJV;
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
That gentle word in your heart illuminates your way to do Father’s will all the time.
His word is a lamp unto your feet.
Which word does it refer to; Jesus Himself, or the written word (KJV in English), or the rhema’d word to your heart?
Answer: All three: All the time.
- Christ, the Living Word, is the source.
- The written word is the record of His teaching.
- The rhema’d word is the precise application of His word.
The Holy Spirit reminds us of Jesus’ teaching, we obey wholeheartedly, enabling us to accomplish the greater works He spoke of.
Faith in Christ expressed through God’s love ensures you overcome every force and every obstacle arrayed against you.
As David rejoiced in 2 Sam 22:29-30 KJV;
For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
