For His Name’s Sake

The LORD Revealed

Our Creator has revealed Himself to mankind through;

His Name: Jehovah
His Creation and Works
His spoken word through His Prophets
His written word: The Holy Bible
His Word made Flesh: The LORD Jesus Christ

No Other Name

The Holy Bible teaches plainly that, ever since Christ’s resurrection, there’s been only one Name by which anybody can be saved from sin, death, judgment, and Hell.

The Holy Ghost declared through the Apostle Peter, who, after healing a man lame from birth, was arraigned before the same bloodthirsty Jews whom crucified Jesus, Acts 4:10-12 KJV;

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Why?

Because The LORD Jesus Christ: Is Almighty God in The Flesh.

Religion and philosophy are satanic snares, set to keep you from the simplicity of knowing God personally. He comes to you now through His Living Word, Jesus Christ of Nazareth who declared, Jn. 14:6 KJV;

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

But By Me

Three precious words that only God manifested in the Flesh could declare.

His resurrection proves every word He uttered was the absolute truth.

And there’s a way to know with certainty that He has been raised from the dead.

Oh how He longs to prove His resurrection to you today.

He gives that proof to every sinner the instant they repent and believe in Him: Sinner! Turn to Jesus Christ and be saved now!

When you are born of God, He puts inside you the evidence that nothing, and nobody, can overcome.

For God so Loved

God saves us because He created us, loves us, wants us, and needs us to complete His Love Plan;

He came Himself, paid the price for our redemption, so that we can live forever in His Presence, forgiven, justified, healed, and at peace with Him.

Now, here’s the point of this article; He did this for His Name’s sake, Ps. 106:8 KJV;

… he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

Yes, He was motivated by love, a desire for fellowship with His lost creatures, and to make His mighty power known to us, but there’s a deeper foundation for His motivation: The sake of His Name.

When you receive this revelation, it will lift from your shoulders every trace of striving to earn, or deserve, your status in Christ.

Pray sincerely:

Heavenly Father, open the eyes of my heart to behold the glory of your Name. Amen.

The core reason He saves, and looks after His own, is because of the integrity of His Name.

The LORD, Almighty God, IS His Name.

Jehovah: The Self Existent One, I AM THAT I AM.

He cannot be divided from His Name: His Name is Him, His Nature, Himself.

His Name encompasses all that He is.

If He were not to save His own children, to keep, protect, lead, and provide for them, then He’d dishonour His own Name.

For example; God covenanted with the Jews to be Jehovah-Jireh, which means in English, “The LORD Provides”, and therefore He would be denying Himself if He did not provide for His own, and see to their needs.

He’d fall short of what His Name declares Him to be.

You can readily see that Almighty God would never let that happen, would He?

He revealed Himself through several other covenant names; Such as, Jehovah-Rapha, which means, “The LORD that healeth thee”.

That’s His nature and Name. He heals all His children by faith in Him. That is why Christ, Jehovah in the Flesh, healed all who came to Him, without exception.

Here’s seven covenant names, each perfectly expressed in, and freely accessed through, Christ Jesus;

Jehovah-Elohiym: THE LORD THY GOD. De. 28:58
Jehovah-Jireh: The LORD will provide (literally, see to it). Gen. 22:14
Jehovah-Rapha: The LORD that healeth thee. Ex. 15:26
Jehovah-Nissi: The LORD my banner. Ex. 17:15
Jehovah-Shalom: The LORD my Peace. Jud. 6:24
Jehovah-Shammah: The LORD is There. Eze. 48:35
Jehovah-Tsidkenu: The LORD our Righteousness. Jer. 23:6, 33:16

The Integrity of His Name

In love, God gave His Only Begotten Son to die in our stead, bearing the divine Judgment for our sins, Jn. 3:16 KJV;

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

That proves how much He loves us: There’s no greater love.

But everything He does for us is founded on the integrity of His Name: He guards that integrity perfectly.

It is unthinkable that He would deny His own Name.

The Bible declares that He cannot deny Himself. (2 Tim. 2:13 KJV)

You have principles and values that are precious to you, and many have remained true to them to their death.

Job understood the importance of retaining his integrity (See Job. 2:3,9, 31:6) and he did so valiantly.

Far more then, does holy, righteous, Almighty God, hold fast the integrity of His Name and words.

The True Sabbath Rest

Therefore, believers rest in Him, knowing that what He does for us, is for His Name’s sake, and not because of anything we have done.

In this life we are like Him. We endeavour to honour, obey, and embody His word to the world as we are exhorted, 1 Jn. 4:17 KJV;

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

But, we rest at peace whilst we walk with Christ, knowing that He; guides, provides, heals, forgives, and preserves us for His Name’s sake, not because of our good behaviour, and diligent obedience. Ps. 23:3, 1 Jn. 2:12, Ps. 106:1 KJV;

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.

Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

And all the saints cry… AMEN!
