The origin of praying to The Virgin
Q: In Luke 2:34-35, Simeon prophesied over Mary that her soul would be pierced, also so that the hearts of many would be revealed. Is this where praying to Mary comes from? Hoby
A: No, nowhere in the Holy Bible is anybody instructed to pray to Mary.
It is sin, an occult trap devised by Satan and propagated by Roman Catholics to lead sinners away from Christ: The only Saviour. 1 Tim. 2:5-6.
The Bible teaches Christians to pray directly to God the Father in the Name of the LORD Jesus Christ. Jn. 16:25-27.
Discover why Catholics are not Christian.
Mary’s soul (her mind, will, and emotions) was “pierced” when she saw her Son crucified, and His Sacrifice brought conviction of sin to the world, exposing our wicked hearts and need for His salvation.
Mary was a sinner, just like all of us, only after she was born again was she made righteous, like every truly born again believer in Christ. The Roman Catholic doctrine of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary is a satanic, blasphemous, invention.

Christian Buddhists?
Q: Can a person believe in Christ and be a Buddhist too?
A: Missionaries are often asked this kind of question by sinners whom the Holy Spirit is working on.
The question varies according to location; in India they wonder if a person can be a Christian and a Hindu, in the Philippines they ask if they can attend the Catholic Mass and still follow Christ, in the Middle East they ask if they can be a Muslim and a follower of Christ, in China many want to call themselves Christian whilst also worshipping Guan Yin, and so on.
The answer to all is the same: No you cannot follow the LORD Jesus Christ and still be a Catholic, a Buddhist, a Hindu, a Muslim, or an idol worshipper of any brand.
You must choose to follow Christ alone or reject Him as your Lord and Saviour, there’s no compromise.
He made this non-negotiable in John 14:6 KJV:
I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.
That rules out all religions and every other way to God except through Christ alone.
The Holy Spirit wrote in Acts 4:12 KJV that there’s only one Name by which we can be saved from sin, Judgment, and Hell:
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
That Name is the LORD Jesus Christ. There is no other saviour.
The Bible says there’s no other mediator, no other intermediary but Christ Jesus, 1 Tim. 2:5-6 KJV:
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all.
1 Co. Ch. 8 warns against the dangers of idolatry and forbids Christians from partaking in idol worship, an injunction echoed throughout the Bible.
A Christian must follow Christ alone, it is all or nothing.
