    Prophetic Scriptures

    Q: The Bible speaks about a new Heaven and Earth, after the return of Jesus. Who will be in Heaven, and who will be on Earth? Tyler

    A: You refer to Rev. 21:1 KJV;

    And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

    Also mentioned in 2 Pe. 2:13 KJV;

    … we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

    Previously prophesied by Isaiah 65:17 KJV;

    For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

    These prophetic scriptures relate to the Millennial (thousand year) reign of Christ on Earth at His Second Coming. An event referred to several times in Revelation chapter twenty.

    It is important to realise that the Holy Bible can only be properly comprehended in and through the Spirit it was written.

    Attend to The Teacher

    The way to understand the Holy Bible is by revelation from the Spirit of God: Our Teacher, just as Jesus said, Jn. 14:25-26 KJV;

    These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

    Notice the little word “all”.

    Everything you need to know, the LORD will teach you as you study His word, the Holy Bible, attentive to His Spirit.

    God teaches His children by His Spirit, on the inside, about all things necessary for life and godliness. (2 Pe. 1:3)

    The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life

    It’s very different from the way we study at school and university, where we learn through our minds, applying intellect and objective logic.

    God’s word is Spirit and life, therefore, it is through our spirits, not through our heads, that we first grasp the meaning of God’s word.

    Understanding comes by God’s grace: Not through mental effort.

    Believers receive revelation direct from God to our heart, only after that does your mind begin to catch on.

    I suggest you develop that ability, and perception, in your Bible study, and avoid trying to apply schoolroom-methods to God’s Word.

    Follow The Living Word: Not Dead Theologians

    People who approach the Bible like they read a textbook, always miss the Spirit of God, because they try to work out what the word means intellectually. They are ignoring the Spirit.

    Theologians do this, and then write excruciating treatises “explaining God’s word”.

    A brief look at the most respected concordances reveals appalling gaffes.

    Poor; John Gill, Matthew Henry, and Adam Clarke, it’s too late for them, and they now know far better in the Glory, but Father wants us to avoid that snare.

    Life: Not Apologetics

    It is the Spirit who gives life, the letter brings death.

    This New Covenant we are to minister is not of the letter, but of the Spirit, 2 Co. 3:6 KJV;

    Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

    We are to follow the Living Christ, by walking in His Spirit, and attending to Him: Not by wallowing in apologetics and endless doctrinal arguments.

    Pennies from Heaven

    All that is needed is the Holy Bible, the KJV in English, and to be genuinely full of the Spirit of God.

    With your attention on Him, the LORD reveals what He means by His word.

    Patiently and beautifully His Spirit opens up the scriptures to your heart, your spirit, you discern what they mean spiritually.

    The penny drops.

    Shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end

    However, a caveat; many of the prophetic scriptures are kept closed until nearer the time of their fulfilment.

    Though that doesn’t stop presumptuous “prophecy experts explaining them” to us!

    Ignore them, and keep your whole attention on the Living God.

    Therefore, if the LORD doesn’t give you a clear personal revelation of the meaning of any scripture, praise Him and get on with the task He’s given each of us: To get His unadorned Gospel message to the ends of the Earth, so that He can return. Here’s some Practical Evangelism Tools and Tips

    Why Christ cannot return yet

    You see, He’s waiting patiently for believers to fulfil our duty, instead of fussing over past or future details we are to leave to Him.

    There’s nothing more satisfying, or vital, than sowing His Seed, and reaping souls for Him.

    Let’s be busy speeding the return of Christ by fulfilling what He commanded, Mtt. 28:19-20 KJV;

    Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

    What is Praying in the Spirit?

    Q: How do I pray in the Spirit?

    A: This is a rich topic, unstudied and neglected by many Christians, leaving them frustrated and powerless. They think it means simply praying in line with God, having the same desire. Well, that’s a good thing to do, but it’s far more than that. Praise God!

    Eph. 6:18 commands us to pray in the Spirit always, or on all occasions, and with all kinds of prayer and supplication;

    Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit

    First Co. 14:14 explicitly states that praying in tongues is praying with the spirit.

    For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth

    When you pray in tongues, your spirit prays in line with God’s Spirit in you.

    When you pray in your normal language, you’re praying with your understanding, your mind.

    That’s one kind of prayer. It has a place, but it’s quite limited in scope, restricted by the person’s understanding, and intelect.

    When you pray in tongues, you pray with your spirit, but your mind is unfruitful, you don’t know what you are praying about.

    The reason God has given us this heavenly way to pray is spelled out in Ro. 8:26-27 KJV;

    Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

    And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

    God’s Holy Spirit is interceding for you, and through you, in accordance with God’s perfect will.

    Isn’t this too wonderful for words!

    The Comforter, in residence, praying for you, and through you, in harmony with Almighty God’s eternal purposes.

    Please don’t restrict your prayer life to just your mother-tongue, receive and use the tongues Father gives you when you are Baptised in His Spirit.

    He will be able to use you more, and open up the way to use more of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in your life.
