Our Divine Smorgasbord
What treasures of delight the word provides for us to feast on. Ps. 23:5 KJV
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
The Gospels bring us to believe in the resurrected Christ.
The Epistles cram us to bursting with the fullness of our Blood-bought redemption.
Satiated with the Living Word and Holy Ghost: We hunger and thirst no more.
Use The Holy Bible: Not a Bible Full of Holes
Take care to have the true word of God in English, because you won’t find these jewels in modern Bibles, only in the Holy Bible, the King James Version.
No wonder users of counterfeit Bibles easily backslide, fall into doubt, unbelief, and sin.
It is because they do not have the word of God to rely upon.
They have a poor paraphrase, written by men led astray by demons.
Phoney Bibles cannot satisfy the true saint of God, they neither nourish the spirit, nor carry the anointing.
The Lord’s Hands are tied when you use a corrupted version of His written word.
Why Modern Bibles are Unreliable
Here’s a prime example of a Gospel fact obliterated in modern Bibles, only the KJV has the Truth. Eph. 3:12 KJV;
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
In the Epistle to the Ephesians, God the Holy Spirit reminds Spirit-filled, tongues-talking believers of their present-day rights and inheritance in Christ Jesus.
He reiterates the mystery of Christ, hidden from man until after the resurrection; that through trusting in the LORD Jesus Christ, Gentile believers become fellow-heirs with believing Israel.
An unthinkable thought to a Pharisee; unimagined even by the first disciples, only comprehended many years after Christ ascended to Heaven.
Think of it, even repugnant Gentile “dogs” like me, and perhaps you, can get to Heaven now!
The Holy Ghost then gives the basis upon which believers can be certain of this Gospel fact. Eph. 3:11-12 KJV;
According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
Relish those five final words; by the faith of him.
Your modern Bible doesn’t give God’s foundation, it slips a false foundation under your feet, so that when the trials of life come you will sink in the quick-sands of doubt.
False Bibles, such as the; RV, RSV, NKJV, NIV, ESV, NASB, GNB, HCSB etc. mistranslate those words as; “through our faith in him” or “through faith in him”.
People who don’t know any better might say, “That’s correct, we have boldness, and access to God because of our faith in Christ. We must believe in Him.”
Assuredly we must truly believe in Christ, a Bible fact many other scriptures confirm, (Mk. 9:42, Jn. 1:12, 3:15-18, 6:29, 6:35, Ro. 10:14, Phil 1:29, 1 Tim. 1:16) but that is not what God has written for us here.
Instead, God points believers to a far stronger foundation than our faith in Christ.
Your faith in Christ may be mighty, and I hope He’s given you a wonderful salvation testimony. Your faith in Christ may be impressive, but it will never reach the standard set by the word of Almighty God in Eph. 3:12.
When the trials of life overwhelm, and Satan is breathing unbelief into your ear, God wants you on the Rock He has provided, not the heap of sand you have piled up.
“Well what could be better than me having faith in Christ?” you appeal.
The Bible Way to Be Confident
There is something much better.
This, you poor soul, starved of the Bread of Heaven, and fed the useless morsels of man instead.
Come into the Word of God, and He will make a good testimony, perfect.
Beautiful Pocket Bibles: The whole Bible in Pitt Minion format, and small enough to carry anywhere in your pocket or purse. Snap flap or Zip, purple, (yes purple!) burgundy, grey or black.
Come, let’s feast on Eph. 3:12 KJV;
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
The word declares we can have bold confident access to God by the faith of him.
By the faith of Christ Jesus
“Isn’t that the same as having faith in Him?” you wonder.
No, not at all, they are poles apart.
Your faith in Him depends upon you; what, and how, you believe.
Your faith in Him is; finite, limited, unfinished, imperfect, and liable to change with the wind.
Isn’t that the case?
In complete contrast; by the faith of him, has nothing to do with you, you have no part in it. It is; infinite, complete, perfect, and eternal.
It is the faith of Christ.
His faith in God, not yours in Him.
Read this out loud and the penny will drop;
By the faith of the LORD Jesus Christ: Not by the faith of [insert your name here].
Compare your faith-walk with Jesus of Nazareth’s, and you’ll immediately discern the difference.
Ah yes, now you understand.
By the faith of Christ Jesus
That is the foundation we are to stand upon.
Put your feet there now, and never shift away.
It is a world of difference from relying on your faith in Him.
Try it and you will see.
God honours the one who obeys Him by trusting in the faith of Christ.
I’d be very apprehensive trying to approach Father though my faith in Christ.
It’s not bad by most standards, but I’d be ashamed to look God in the eye if I depended upon my faith in Jesus.
No, I’ve read the word, I know what God commands me to do, to come before Him anytime I want, with boldness and confidence by the faith of him.
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
Yes Lord, I know His faith never fails, so I can have total confidence in His faith, all the time.
The faith of Christ is eternally perfect: It is sufficient for me.
Is it enough for you too?

Discover Why Modern Bible Versions Cannot be Trusted: The Last Twelve Verses of Mark is Dean, John Burgon’s peerless vindication of the scriptural authenticity of the passage modern Bibles try to remove.
John Burgon’s minutely detailed scholarship is irrefutable. An excellent eye-opening introduction for those seduced by any of the modern “Bible” versions, and their spurious footnotes, such as; “Not found in the most ancient manuscripts”.
Burgon’s writing style is highly academic, yet accessible and enjoyable reading.
