    God Hates Homosexuality

    Q: Does God hate homosexuals?

    A: No, of course not, He hates the sin of homosexuality.

    God has proved His love for sinners, including all the sexually immoral, by dying to release them from bondage to the compulsions controlling them.

    He’s also proved that He paid the ransom price in full once and for all, by rising from the dead.

    All He asks of any sinner who wants to receive forgiveness of sins, peace with God, and eternal life, is to repent and believe in the LORD Jesus Christ.

    When they do, they turn away from sin, and have access to the power of God to overcome all temptations, and walk in victory.

    The Bible on Homosexuality

    Q: I recently read an in-depth study about homosexuality. The study concluded that it was not wrong. Please give me your views on what the word says about this. Julie

    A: The study you read was in error. Christians agree with Almighty God who gave the perfect illustration of what becomes of sodomites, lesbians, and all the sexually immoral, when He judged Sodom and Gomorrah. Gen. 19 and Jude 7.

    Homosexuality is sin, a demonic perversion, and is expressly condemned in both the Old and the New Covenants. Deu. 23:17, Lev. 18:22, Ro. 1:26-28, Eph. 5:5.

    No homosexual gets to Heaven unless they quit their sin. 1 Co. 6:18, 6:9-10, Rev. 21:8, 22:15.

    Any person bound by sexual sin can be set completely free if they are willing to repent and believe in the LORD Jesus Christ.

    Is Homosexuality Sinful?

    A: More important than our opinion, is what God says about homosexuality. We believe His word, the Holy Bible.

    Under the Old Covenant homosexual behaviour is a detestable sin punishable by death. Almighty God says in Lev. 18:22,29, Lev. 20:13, Deu. 23:17 KJV;

    Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is abomination. For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

    If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

    There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

    Under the New Covenant homosexuality is also utterly condemned; Rom. 1:18,24,26-28 KJV says;

    For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; … Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves.

    For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

    The Holy Spirit warns all the sexually immoral in First Corinthians 6:9-10 KJV;

    Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

    In the final book of the Bible Jesus confirms that the sexually immoral are thrown into the Lake of Fire (Rev. 21:8) and cannot enter Heaven (Rev. 22:15).

    The Good News for homosexuals is that you can be set free from every sinful compulsion and perversion today, if you are willing to repent and believe in Christ, and follow Him.

    He will make you a new person, clean inside and out, with a new heart, and power over every temptation.

    God does not leave us guessing what His will for us is. He tells us plainly in His Word, and leads us in all the details of life by the Holy Spirit in a believer’s heart. Discover how to become sensitive to His leading in your life and Know God’s Will

    If a person claims to be a Christian whilst continuing in wilful sin, sexual, or any other kind, they are deluding themselves.

    God’s word declares that anybody who has become a child of God doth not commit sin. They still retain the ability to sin of course, we always have a choice. The point here is that a Christian has been made a new creation, and the Holy Spirit in their heart leads them to choose to walk in obedience and righteousness, and they turn away from all sin.
