Even if a thousand unbelieving preachers teach it may not be God’s will to heal you, remember God’s Healing Covenant, it includes you.
I am the LORD that healeth thee.
Holy Bible, Exodus 15:26 KJV
When you have faith in God’s promises, you can be healed and remain healthy.
If you check the Scriptures, and accept the clear facts, you will repent of unbelief in Divine healing. You will accept the Gospel fact that healing is always included in your salvation.
This is a Gospel basic, the linchpin of the healing ministry.
The concept that healing is distinct from salvation is false.
One of the reasons the Life of Jesus Christ is imparted to believers, is to heal their bodies.
Separating healing from salvation is unbiblical and wrong. You cannot separate the Saviour from the Healer. Christ is always both at the same time!
By receiving Christ, you receive the Saviour-Healer.
Since He is able and wants to give you everlasting life, He is surely willing and able to heal you physically. Religious programming veils this obvious Bible truth.
Five Scriptural proofs it is God’s will to heal all
These Scriptural facts are the keys to the healing ministry. Unless ministers believe and proclaim these five basic truths, they will never be effective in ministering Christ’s healing.
Why do believers fall ill today? Simple lack of knowledge of the true Gospel. Why do they chase after doctors, and buy New-Age foods deceptively sold by snake-oil salesmen as ‘Christian diets’?
Because their confidence is in man, or the occult, instead of the word of God.
You can be healed by Christ right now simply though believing and acting on these Gospel healing basics.
But let’s discover if you are prejudiced against the miraculous, or against Divine Healing.
If, after studying this article and God’s word, you become convinced that healing is for all, will you repent? Will you change your ideas, beliefs, and teaching on the subject?
If you accept the following five Scriptural proofs that healing is for everyone, would you be glad about such good news. Would you share this Gospel fact in your evangelizing, as Christ commands?
If you answer yes, then ask Jesus to give you revelation of His will, and His word, and read the rest of this life-changing article.
Scriptural Proof 1: God’s Healing Covenant
Exodus 15:26 is God’s contract of healing.
I am the LORD that healeth thee.
This contract is for all, including you. All the blessings given to Israel come to everyone who receives Christ as Lord and Saviour. See Eph. 3:6, 2:11-22, 2 Co. 1:20-22
In this brief declaration, God answers three central questions on healing.
1. Is God a Healer? Yes. I am the LORD that healeth thee.
2. Whom will God heal? All, thee. God makes no exceptions. I am the LORD that healeth thee.
Even though a thousand unbelieving preachers may teach it may not be God’s will to heal you, remember God’s Healing Covenant… it includes you!
God makes no exceptions, so why should you exclude yourself?
3. When will God heal? I AM the LORD that healeth thee
That’s present-continuous tense, in other words… Right now because He is the right now God. Halleluia! Doubters say, ‘In God’s time He may heal you’, but remember God’s healing covenant.
I AM the LORD that healeth thee.
It grieves the Holy Spirit when unbelieving theologians tell folks to suffer patiently waiting to see if God will heal them. He said in effect, I AM your Physician. Now and for all time.
There are many promises of healing in the Holy Bible, but Exodus 15:26 is God’s Covenant, His contract of healing.
A covenant is more than a promise isn’t it? And His Covenant is for all that trust in Jesus to save them.
Scriptural Proof 2: Christ’s Atonement
The prophet Isaiah spoke of Christ’s perfect atonement for everybody’s sins, pains, sicknesses, and diseases in the monumental Chapter 53, that declares;
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:
Isaiah 53:4 KJV
The Holy Spirit through Matthew expresses the same Gospel fact.
Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Mtt. 8:17 KJV
Isaiah summarises the atonement;
with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 KJV
God could not have used the words our griefs (pains), our sorrows or sicknesses, our infirmities, we are healed, if anyone was excluded, could He?
Healing is for all because God includes everyone who trusts in Christ’s atonement. Your lack of faith in God’s word will exclude you, but God doesn’t.
David knew and proclaimed that God forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psalm 103:2-3 KJV
That includes you if you believe God’s word. For a believer to exclude himself, he’d have to be blind to the clear meaning of this Scripture.
Peter also excludes no believer;
By whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Pe. 2:24 KJV
Physical healing for all believers is included in Christ’s atonement.
God the Father says so, God the Holy Spirit says so, God the Word says so, Isaiah says so, David says so, Matthew says so, Peter, and others say so.
Seven Holy Bible witnesses unreservedly declare this Gospel fact. Do you?
Scriptural Proof 3: Christ’s Ministry
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Heb. 13:8 KJV
Jesus hasn’t changed. He healed all that came to Him believing in His ministry. He refused, no one, and He will refuse no one today who puts their whole trust in Him.
great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all. Mtt. 12:15 KJV. as many as touched were made perfectly whole. Mtt. 14:36b KJV. And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all. Lk. 6:19 KJV
Beloved, He’s lost none of His power to heal. Reach out and touch Him in faith. He excludes no one.
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
Mtt. 8:16 KJV
Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.
Lk. 4:40 KJV
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Acts 10:38 KJV
Physical healing was for all in Bible days under Christ’s ministry, and Christ the Healer has never changed.
Scriptural Proof 4: Christ’s Commission
In Mark 16:15-18 KJV Jesus told His disciples to:
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
He mentioned no exceptions. He didn’t qualify His command by saying. “They’ll get well… unless it is my will that they suffer gracefully”. Or “They will get well, unless I put this sickness on them to teach them something.”
No! He promised, They shall recover.
That is for you and for everyone who is sick.
Healing is part of the Gospel we are commanded to preach to every creature in all the world. God would not tell us to do this if it were not also His will for everyone to receive all the benefits of that message.
In His Commission Christ promised; He that believeth… shall be saved. Does that apply to all sinners who believe? Of course it does.
Similarly, They will place their hands on the sick, and they shall recover v 18. This applies to all that suffer physical sickness. Christ makes no exceptions in either case. Forgiveness and healing are for whoever believes. Why exclude yourself when God doesn’t exclude you?
Scriptural Proof 5: The Early Church’s Example
The Early Church believed in miracles, and prayed for them. They expected miracles for everyone who believed, and as they believed, so it was done.
There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
Acts 5:16 KJV
The disciples never saw Jesus refuse a sick person healing. He turned none away, not one. So they followed His teaching, and example; and they were healed every one.
Paul preached healing. He declared that Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: Gal. 3:13 KJV
What curse?
In Deuteronomy 28 God lists the diseases that come upon people who disobey Him. It covers every disease, every ailment known to mankind. Read it and see. If your disease is not mentioned specifically, read Deuteronomy 28:60-61 KJV.
Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
So your sickness is included isn’t it?
Paul preached that Christ took our place and suffered in our stead, and redeems believers from the curses of the Law.
Christ suffered all the curses of the Law for everyone, no exceptions.
Paul’s Gospel includes healing for all.
James asks, Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
James 5:14-15 KJV
Note the Greek word used for ‘save’ in the phrase ‘save the sick‘ is sozo, again proving that forgiveness and healing are inseparable in James’ Gospel and teaching. ‘any’ includes all believers, even those who have sinned. It did in the Early Church, it does today.
James’ Gospel includes healing for all.
John taught the Early Church; And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
1 John 5:14-15 KJV
‘Any thing‘ includes healing. ‘According to his will‘ means according to His word, or His promise. Clearly healing is according to His promise, and to His word. John, one of the closest of Jesus’ disciples, certainly knew it was Christ’s will to heal all the sick who followed Him.
John’s Gospel includes healing for all. Peter clearly taught healing was for all…
…by whose stripes ye were healed.
1 Pe. 2:24 KJV
‘Ye‘ includes all believers doesn’t it?
Paul the missionary made no exceptions in proclaiming the Gospel, and his Gospel included healing for all.
And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you…
Acts 20:20 KJV
Healing is definitely profitable (helpful) if you are sick.
On Malta Island, every sick person was healed under Paul’s ministry, no exceptions. Starting with the Chief Official’s father who;
…lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him. So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:
Acts 28:8-9 KJV
There are no exceptions in the book of Acts; everyone who applied for healing in the Early Church was healed. The Church began by miracles, because they followed Jesus who heals all who asked. We should not only follow the Early Church’s teaching, but we should also follow her action. When we do, healing miracles result just as in Bible days.
A modern ecumenical lukewarm ‘church’ is a terrible example to follow. Let’s get back to the Bible Way, the Main Road, the only way to evangelize the world… The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, that includes healing for all.
God used Paul in writing most of the New Testament, and Paul did not feel he had fully proclaimed the Gospel unless God confirmed his message with signs, wonders and miracles.
For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
Ro. 15:18-19 KJV
The Early Church preached Christ’s message, people were healed and demons cast out in Jesus’ Name. If someone came along afterwards and claimed to ‘preach the Gospel’ and it was just words with no accompanying demonstration of the Spirit of God’s power in signs, wonders and miracles, that ‘preacher’ would be laughed out of town as a phoney.
For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance;
1 Th. 1:5 KJV
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
1 Co. 2:4-5 KJV
For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
1 Co. 4:20 KJV
The Scriptures in this article prove that it is God’s will to heal whoever comes to Him in faith. This is His will, His way. No other way of healing is recommended in the Holy Bible. God has no other way for His people. Let every preacher and believer repent, seek the Lord, get filled with His Spirit, and preach only the true Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, that includes healing for all.
