Hath Forgiven You
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:32 KJV
Is Done Away
Praise God the Jewish Law has been done away by Christ for us.
Our old sinful nature was the weak link. The letter of the Law ministered death, none of us kept, or could keep it: The Jewish Law was a schoolmaster pointing us to Christ, who fulfilled it perfectly, and established the New Covenant of grace through faith in His Blood. 2 Co. 3:11 KJV;
For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
This New Covenant is better, with better promises from God, Heb. 8:6 KJV;
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
In our sins; we broke the Law, failed continually, and so needed a merciful Saviour to save us from God’s wrath, judgment, and eternal damnation in Hell.
Aren’t you glad God came in Christ and did for you, what you could never do for yourself?
The secret to Dr. Osborn’s unprecedented success as a miracle evangelist, is the message TL, Daisy, and LaDonna have preached around the world to millions. It is the same message for people everywhere: The Gospel Message of Christ. It’s all you need, because it is The Message that Works.
Must I keep the 10 Commandments?
Some ask, “Since the Law and Ten Commandments have been fulfilled and done away with, do I need to keep them now?”
The answer to which is, Eph. 2:8-9, Rom. 6:14b KJV;
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast… for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
From Ten to One
Christ instituted the New Covenant which has a new commandment, Jn. 13:34-35 KJV;
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Under the Christian Covenant, walking in divine love fulfils the Law, Gal. 5:14 KJV;
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love one another, love enemies, love your neighbour.
Especially when they hate and want you dead.
Neighbour Means Everyone
That includes your family, relatives, in-laws, schoolmates, and colleagues.
When you walk in divine love towards everyone, you are obeying Christ’s Royal Law, you will do no harm whatsoever to anybody. Jas. 2:8 KJV;
If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
We are ever conscious how gracious Father remains toward us; how He approached us in mercy, not wrath, desiring our love, not revenge, how He gave His Best for the worst: Me and you.
The Holy Ghost summarises what our attitude must be, even to our most vicious enemy, Ephesians 4:32 KJV;
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
A More Excellent Way
That is why, by the power of God’s Spirit shed abroad in your heart, you are enabled to; turn the other cheek, go the extra mile, forgive, and keep on forgiving, no matter how despitefully enemies use you. Mtt. 5:43-45 KJV;
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
This is the love we were created by, were made for, and the love which paid our debt to God in full once and for all.
We are therefore obliged to love everyone as Christ loves us. Rom. 13:8-10 KJV;
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Kind, Tender, Forgiving
When you walk in Christ’s love, you will not; kill, steal, lie, cheat, covet, or break any Law of God.
Rather you will be; kind, patient, tender, and merciful, Ephesians 4:32 KJV;
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
Father delights in your sincere worship, praise, and fellowship, but nothing gives Him more pleasure than to find you walking in His True Love, 3 Jn. 4 KJV;
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
