    Beyond Redemption?

Q: Is there an extent where one is too sinful to be forgiven by God? Agnes

A: Please contemplate the following Holy Bible facts:

    • Jn. 1:29 KJV: John the Baptist points sinners to believe in the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world… The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
    • Acts 10:43 KJV: Peter’s message is that all who believe on Christ receive forgiveness of sins through His Name… To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
    • Paul wrote in 1 Tim. 1:15 that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners… This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
    • Mtt. 26:28 KJV: Christ said His own Blood was shed for the remission of sins… For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Now answer this; are your personal sins included in the “sin of the world” spoken of by John the Baptist?

    Speak up…

In his Gospel message, declaring those who believe on Christ receive forgiveness of sins, does Peter make any type of sin, or any amount of sin, an exception?

To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

    Answer: Yes or no.

    What kind of sinners does Paul say Christ came to save; the best sinners, the least sinners, or the worst sinners? Read it aloud and answer. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners;

What sins did Christ say His Blood would not remit?

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

    Let angels hear you reply.

Which sins are excluded from God’s promise of forgiveness and cleansing in 1 Jn. 1:9?

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    List them aloud please.

Now examine your heart, and see if it harbours any sin, and know that God wants to forgive you.

Confess it to Him, turning away from sin, pleading only the Blood of Christ, and it will be gone forever: Under the Blood that takes away the sin of the world.

The Power of Faith: Smith Wigglesworth discovered the difference between head-faith and Bible faith. One produces cosy, but dead, religion, the other dynamic miracle results. Find out how to really believe, and you will begin to thrill God’s Heart like Smith did.

    When Christians sin

Q: What happens when a born again Christian gets into problems of besetting sin for a time, such as; adultery, homosexuality and pornography and then decides to repent? Is he still saved after repenting? Tony

A: Prayerfully read these answers to questions about the danger of backsliding, are backsliders saved, what happens to backsliders, hope for backsliders, and most importantly, why Christians backslide.

    Hidden sin

    Q: What are unconfessed sins?

A: Sins that a believer has neither repented of, nor asked God’s forgiveness for.

To be forgiven of a sin a Christian must repent of it, stop doing it, and ask forgiveness directly from God, pleading the Blood of Christ. (See First and Second Peter, and First John.)

Use of the term “unconfessed sin” implies the culprit is aware of the sin, but has not quit it.

New believers, because of genuine ignorance, commonly indulge in sin without being aware their behaviour is sinful, but the Holy Spirit soon brings conviction, and expects them to repent and confess it to God.

By the way; confessing sins, in the biblical sense, has nothing to do with the demonic invention of Catholic confession, which only results in both priest and confessor falling further into sin.
