Born of Love
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Eph. 3:17-19 KJV
Christians have a Heavenly Father ambitious for each of His children to be filled with all the fulness of God.
Is it possible?
Of course.
God has said it, therefore it will be done.
Rooted & Grounded in Love
He did it first in pre-eminent Christ, Col 1:18-19, 2:9 KJV;
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
The God Man
Dwelling in the Son of Man was everything of Almighty God that it is possible to sustain in human flesh.
Father was pleased to have all His fulness present in Jesus, with the result; whatever Christ asked: He received.
Whatever He said: Was.
This is Father’s will for you right now.
…that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Only one person can hinder His desire: It’s up to you.
Christ Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of Man, set the example.
By Invitation Only
He laid down His life continuously, allowing Father liberty to have His fulness dwell in Him.
Each choice Jesus made was His own will subjected to Father’s.
From the age of decision, He sacrificed His life daily to permit Father to reign in Him.
Under the New Covenant, born again believers can do the same, and continue doing so until He returns, because, by faith, we have the Spirit of Christ dwelling in us.
Contemplate the wonder of this Gospel fact.
Christ in You
And the divine simplicity of how it works. Eph. 3:17-19 KJV;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
We are born of God, Christ now dwells in our hearts, where Father’s love is shed abroad. Knowing His love for us, we manifest it, and experience the extent of God’s limitless love for His creation.
It faileth not.
Faith Worketh by Love
As we express His love, we are filled with God’s fulness.
All human love fails, falling far below God’s standard; you will never know His fulness if all you offer is your own love.
Allowing God’s love to rule in our hearts, shows forth Divine Love, and guarantees that we never fail.
The 120 in the upper room of Acts 2 were tarrying for more than mere tongues: They were waiting to receive God’s power: Tongues is the first biblical sign of being immersed, baptised in God’s Spirit.
However, the enduring sign is divine Love accompanied by Bible results.
And could it be otherwise when a believer is truly filled with God’s Spirit and fulness?
What an adventure
Are you willing to begin right now?
Smith Wigglesworth is far and away England’s greatest Evangelist. Mighty signs and wonders accompanied his preaching. But his life was not easy, it was a series of severe trials and testing. He overcame by remaining full of Christ and walking in the power of His Spirit.
Smith lived in God’s Presence on Earth, always ready for Rapture. Let him tell you how you can do the same: Smith Wigglesworth on Heaven.
