Read Part 1 Believing God for Healing
Receiving Your Miracle from God
Q: I’m having difficulty after reading Healing from Christ. I understand the idea, but don’t see my symptoms change, what am I missing?
A: Here’s the Bible way believers claim and receive healing from Christ.
First we nourish our spirits with healing scriptures, Ps. 103:1-2, 107:20, Mtt. 8:16-17, Rom. 8: 11, 10:13, 1 Pe. 2:24 KJV;
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Christ the Saviour-Healer
There’s plenty more; when you see by revelation, that salvation always includes physical healing, then you’ll perceive scriptural healing from Genesis to Revelation.
Physical healing is included in our Blood-bought redemption.
Christ paid in full, once and for all, for you.
Let the Living Word abide in you now and always.
And as His words abide in us, they impart His Life to our bodies and spirits, overcoming whatever is not of Him.
Halleluia to Jesus!
How to receive Your Healing
Since believers’ redemption is a Gospel fact, we readily see our part is simply to believe and enjoy it now.
Here’s how to apply that to bodily healing.
We wholeheartedly embrace the LORD and His words, the healing scriptures, in our heart.
We believe His words in our heart, all of them, all the time.
We confess them with our lips, we obey and thereby fulfil them.
That is our joy and delight.
We are aware of symptoms; pains, lumps, and things not working as they ought to.
We don’t deny their existence, symptoms are a physical fact, a painful reality, but we steadfastly resist them in Jesus’ Name, and declare that our confidence is in far greater truth: Christ has redeemed us from them by His Blood, and so they must depart.
Believing Means Doing
Stand that ground, nothing wavering, putting your faith into action, and Almighty God will make it good. The symptoms always depart; often instantly, sometimes over hours, days, or weeks, it is according to your faith. What are you going to believe? The eternal Word of God, or transient symptoms of disease?
Simply keep believing, as FF. Bosworth used to proclaim;
The Bible says, Be ye doers of the Word, that’s commanded; it’s a sin not to act on God’s word. And God’s promises are fulfilled on our behalf only as we act on them.
Find a promise of God in the Bible relating to your situation, believe it in your heart, confess it, and remain standing on it. There’s not one in a million chance the promise will fail to materialise. You are certain to get the manifestation if you stand on the word.
When you open your Bible, God is talking to you through it. It is not to be doubted: It is to be acted upon.
We only receive the Promises of the word as we do the word.
Not as we agree with, but as we act on the promise.
Believing the word is doing the word.
Anything less is dead-faith and mental assent.
So be a doer of the word: A believer.
That’s the Bible way to claim and receive your healing from Christ.
