You Have Eternal Life from God
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1 Jn. 5:10-12 KJV
Because you have the witness of Christ’s resurrection in you, that nothing can gainsay, then you know that you have eternal life from Him.
When you repented in spirit and in truth, from unbelief in The LORD Jesus Christ, and began Following Him as your LORD and Saviour, you were immediately made a new creature in Christ, with divine life empowering you.
It was an act of the grace, mercy, and power of Almighty God because of the Faith of Christ, and Your Faith in Him.
This new life is the exact same divine eternal life that powered Christ when He walked the Earth: It is God’s Life in You!.
Believing on Christ means embracing Him as your Lord, and fulfilling His written word: It has nothing to do with feelings, or experiences, however real and spiritual they may be: It is based on trust in Him, and His words alone.
This scripture resonates, and concurs with the witness, in the new believer’s heart that they have eternal life from God.
Notice; He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself (It’s for herself too ladies!)
The witness confirms God’s written record that the believer has eternal life, the life of Christ in them.
You know it is a fact because you have believed on Christ, and it is written in The Holy Bible that you have the Life of God’s Son in you.
Father wants you to depend on His Word: The Living Resurrected LORD Jesus Christ.
Eternal life is not based on; feelings, sensations, experiences, moods, ceremonies, your goodness, doctrine, or anything anybody else has said or done to you.
Let God be true and every man a liar.
Stand on what God has written of the believer, act on what God has said, and He will endorse, and work through you, glorifying His Only Begotten Son in your flesh.
If Christ be not risen, then scripture would be broken, the Holy Bible would not be true, and nothing would happen as you obeyed the written word.
Therefore, because the believer knows Christ is risen in them, they also know God’s word is being confirmed as they fulfil it.
This is The Rock Almighty God has provided and revealed to you: Stand there!
