During Peter’s Perfect Sermon
The Holy Ghost Fell On All Them Which Heard The Word
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
Holy Bible, Acts 10:34-44 KJV
Those majestic sentences were spoken by Peter in less time than it took to read them, yet the power of God, by the anointing of the Holy Ghost, saved every hearer of that plain-speaking fisherman’s message.
They still do.
Be a Hearer
The essence of the preaching of God’s Prophets of old is to trust in the Living Word of God, who was subsequently manifested on Earth: The LORD Jesus Christ.
Throughout the Old Testament, our Creator foreshadows the perfect eternal redemption that Christ has now won, and offers to sinners.
He’s made receiving the benefit of that redemption easy.
Speaking of the resurrected LORD Jesus Christ, The Holy Ghost in Acts 10:43 KJV proclaims;
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
Twenty divine words of promise. Notice;
- Whosoever
- Believeth in Him
- Receives remission of sins
Christ’s Message is for Whosoever
This promise is for you, because you’re whosoever.
It includes the worst of sinners, no matter what depravity they’ve fallen prey to.
Pay attention to what God’s written for us, and embrace His mercy extended to you today.
God’s whosoever includes you, so do not exclude yourself and perish, believe what follows and you’ll receive what you’ve craved your whole life.
Believeth in Him
Put you trust in The Risen LORD Jesus Christ: God in the Flesh.
Nobody else can do what He’s already accomplished for you.
Only Almighty God can save you: His Name is The LORD Jesus Christ.
He’s paid for you, and was raised alive to prove He has atoned for your sin, once and for all.
Begin calling on, and trusting in Him with all your heart.
Receive Remission of Sins
Remission of sins means; cancellation, they’re wiped from your record, as though they’d never occurred. They’re gone forever, never to condemn you.
Christ bore your sin, guilt, and punishment, so you can walk with Father at peace, forever free of condemnation, and shame.
This may be the final opportunity you have to accept God’s Only Begotten Son as your LORD and Saviour, Acts 10:43 KJV;
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
Do it now and live at peace with God and yourself.
