    Christ’s Transfiguration

    And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

    Mth. 17:1-3 KJV

    Peter, John and James were eyewitnesses of Christ’s Majesty when He led them up the mountain, and was transfigured in their presence.

    They saw Christ glorified speaking with Moses and Elijah (Elias).

    A momentary glimpse of the Heavenly Glory in our physical realm.

    Quite an experience.

    But every born again believer can trump that.

    Moved by God’s Spirit, Peter wrote in 2 Pe. 1:16-18 KJV;

    For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

    For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

    And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

    That spectacular revelation given to Peter, John and James lasted a brief time, just once in their lives on Earth.

    What they received later in the New Birth, each born again believer shares today, and is far, far greater… and eternal: We have the very Life of God in us. His Spirit in ours, bringing His Life to our mortal flesh. Rom. 8:11 KJV;

    But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

    You can’t get closer to God than that, can you?

    • Humble Moses was honoured with the privilege of speaking face to face with God.
    • The first twelve disciples lived with God in the Flesh.
    • The select three briefly witnessed Christ glorified.
    • What is offered today is infinitely greater: Heart to heart fellowship with Almighty God.

    Intimacy with God

    It’s beautiful to read the Holy Bible and receive revelation of its meaning; lovelier yet to hear the rhema word of God direct to our hearts, but oh how much more precious to enter into that blessed state when we are truly in fellowship with the Spirit of God in our hearts.

    It is the fulfilment of Christ’s John 17:21-23 prayer for us;

    That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

    May the LORD open your spiritual eyes to see the glory of this prayer today.

    It is far greater than theologians would have you believe.

    They use it to promote evil ecumenical scheming.

    The Ecumenical Movement is Satan’s work, whereby he seeks to corral real Christians with Catholics under the antiChrist pope’s authority.

    It’s too late to delude those in whom Christ’s prayer has been fulfilled, who have been made one in Christ as He desired;

    That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:

    Oh Glory what an honour: One with the Father, one with the Son, through the Holy Spirit in each true believer!

    Is that you?

    Has Christ’s prayer been fulfilled in your heart and life: Check in your spirit now.

    It is even more lovely than reading His word: The Holy Bible. It is far more precious than glimpsing Him glorified on the mount. More intimate than speaking face to face with God.

    It is the Life of God in us: Divine intimacy with Almighty God: His Spirit united with ours. 1 Co. 6:19, 1 Co. 3:16 KJV;

    What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

    Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

    Peter, James and John were eyewitnesses of Christ’s Glory.

    We have the Holy Spirit’s Witness of Christ’s Glory in our very spirit! 1 Jn. 5:9-12 KJV;

    If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

    He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

    And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

    Gentiles (other sheep) who have the Son recognize and hear His voice, Jn. 10:16 KJV;

    And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

    The three disciples closest to Christ could say in truth, 2 Pe. 1:18 KJV;

    And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

    They were with Glorified Jesus on a mountain, and heard God speak from Heaven.

    We have the Spirit of God in us, and hear Him speak direct to our hearts.

    Selah!

    England’s greatest preacher operated all the Gifts of the Spirit as he preached and ministered. Few Christians have approached the level of anointing Smith attained. He knew his business, and His business was God’s Business. Let him unfold to you the working of the Gifts of the Spirit. Smith Wigglesworth On Spiritual Gifts.
