The Pope and That Woman
Q: Roman Catholic dogma claims Mary was sinless from conception based on Gen. 3:15. Is there any truth in the Immaculate Conception?
A: No, it’s completely false, a doctrine of devils. See: The Immaculate Conception Deception for the background.
Pope Pius IX attempted to twist Gen. 3:15 to claim scriptural support for his heresy.
God addressed the serpent (Satan) saying: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
The “infallible” Catholic Pope instructed his flock to believe that “the woman” prophetically referred to Mary, the Mother of Christ.
He was dead wrong.
God’s word includes the expression “the woman” eight times in Genesis 3, and each time it refers specifically to Eve.
Look how Almighty God uses “the woman” phrase either side of the verse the Pope cited, Verse 13 KJV;
And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
Who is “the woman” God spoke to? It can only be Eve.
In verse 16 God speaks:
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Who is “the woman” God spoke to? It clearly refers to Eve, and the judgment of painful parturition and subjugation applies to all her female descendants.
Mary was a sinner, born under the same condemnation as everyone else.

What does enmity mean?
The Pope also perverted the meaning of the word “enmity” in order to mislead the gullible. Pius IX claimed its use in this verse meant Mary was free of original sin, and sinless from conception.
The Hebrew word used for enmity simply means; hostility, hatred, discord. God said to the serpent Satan:
I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
God put hostility, hatred, and discord, between the serpent and Eve, and between the Devil’s children and Christ.
Notice “her seed” refers prophetically to the coming Christ-Messiah who would take on Flesh, and be born of woman. Satan bruised His heel, but Christ bruised Satan’s head, for us.
Enmity: Does Satan hate Eve and her descendants? Remember the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy people.

Do the unsaved hate Christ?
They use His Name as a swear word.
You were born a child of the Devil, and an enemy of Christ, weren’t you?
Each of us is born in that awful state, that is why we must be born again, and become a child of God. His grace removes the enmity, and you begin to love the One who first loved you.
Whose word will you believe; a dead-wrong pope’s, or the word of God?
