For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

    And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

    Col. 2:9-15 KJV

    The Shout in the Camp

Halleluia! The Conqueror has come, routed our enemy, given us His victory, and retrieved the spoils.

    The Battle has been Won!

The only fight believers have is the fight of faith: To believe in Him, trust and honour His word, to embrace and use the spoils He’s won for us.

The word states that believers are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Rom. 8:37)

    Believe that Bible fact!

Conquerors;… act on His word boldly, let it live in your heart, on your lips, and in your flesh.

    Victory is ours!

God in the Flesh has redeemed creation: Christ defeated Satan, sin, sickness and infirmity, once and for all. It was a divine legal victory, won by the Man who is Almighty God in human Flesh.

He has put every spiritual enemy under believers’ feet, forgiven all our sins and trespasses, and quickened us with Him.

The LORD has blotted out, and abolished, the condemnation of the law, by nailing it to His cross: Because He bore the penalty, the cost of sin has been paid in full for you and me.

We deserve; death, damnation in Hell, disease, sickness, and eternal separation for our transgressions, but Christ the Righteous Redeemer took our place, conquered all the consequences of The Fall for us, and rose from the grave to prove He has spoiled our enemies.

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

    Glory! Look…

    Triumphing over them in it.

    In what?

In His substitution, in His humiliation, in His suffering on our behalf, in His death, in His resurrection.

Jesus displayed our death in full public view, so nobody can legitimately deny the legality of the New Covenant in His Blood.

He laid down His Life, and poured out His Blood willingly.

It fell to the dust from which He’d created man.

No wonder the Earth quaked, the Temple Mount split, the Temple veil ripped open (Mtt. 27:51-54), and the Old Covenant finished (Jn. 19:30, Rom. 10:4, 2 Co. 3:7-11): Satan’s spiritual dominion of man was broken forever.

    The spoils of God’s Victory become ours by trusting in The LORD Jesus Christ: Embracing His word and fulfilling it, Rom. 8:1 KJV;

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

We are led by His Spirit in our hearts, we do as the Spirit bids, we live to please our Lord.

    Our condemnation has gone: Christ bore our judgment for sin We are free. The war is over, and peace declared. Jn. 14:27 KJV;

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

    Troubled? Afraid?

    • When we have Christ in us?
    • When our spiritual eyes have been enlightened by His glorious victory?
    • When we know Him as Father God?
    • When we are bathed in His love, mercy, and faithfulness?
    • When we are complete in Him?
    • When we trust the New Covenant sealed in His Blood?
    • When we have His witness in our hearts?

No, we are neither troubled nor fearful, we have His peace. He has spoiled principalities and powers; Christ has redeemed us, and all that was meant for us.

And we don’t have to wait to get to Heaven to enjoy it: It’s ours in Christ now.

    The Most Deadly Sin

The arch-deceiver lied, Satan the serpent seduced our ancestors into yielding their dominion, and their fellowship with Almighty God.

They chose to believe the word of the Devil, and doubt the veracity of the word of God.

Learn from their folly. Doubting God is the source of every evil: The most deadly sin.

    Unbelief is treason, spiritual rebellion.

Creation has suffered six thousand years of continual death, destruction, and torment because of a single human sin.

You see how deadly doubt is?

Playing with the Serpent, Cobras and Rattlesnakes is unwise: One bite is fatal.

    Seven Spoils of Victory

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Praise the LORD! Believers have been made right with God through what Christ has accomplished. We are no longer held captive to sin, but free to walk in victory with God as Father.

Praise The LORD Jesus Christ! Who has redeemed everything that was ours before The Fall.

    • Eternal Life
    • Perfect righteousness
    • Peace
    • God’s Love
    • No sickness, disease, or infirmity
    • Freedom from captivity
    • Restored to God’s family. No separation from Our Creator

These are our spoils. Accept them from the Word of God, who conquered for us, and has made us more than conquerors.

    How do we embrace them?

By faith in the word: Simply believe, and use them for His Glory.

    Halleluia!

No more captivity, no more condemnation, no more sickness, failure, rejection, guilt, loneliness or defeat.

No more sin-consciousness because He’s given us His righteousness, His holiness, His wisdom, His love and power, His Name, with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies.

England’s greatest preacher operated all the Gifts of the Spirit as he preached and ministered. Few Christians have approached the level of anointing Smith attained. He knew his business, and His business was God’s Business. Let him unfold to you the working of the Gifts of the Spirit. Smith Wigglesworth On Spiritual Gifts.
