Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

    2 Co. 5:17-21 KJV

    Sinners Have Been Reconciled

The heart of the Gospel is that God has come to Earth, in Christ, paid the whole world out of debt to Himself, and holds nothing against any sinner.

His Arms are held out, open wide, ready to welcome the worst of sinners into Christ, and be washed white as snow with His Blood.

That is why, when you recall the moment God came to you, and invited you to follow Him as your LORD, you sensed no condemnation whatsoever.

Notwithstanding the fact that you were filthy, reeking of rebellion, dripping with the foetid results of a life of seamless sin.

He shone His spotlight of unconditional Love onto you.

    Me LORD?

    Yes you: Follow me.

    Yes LORD!

That’s as simple as it was for me, and He’s the same towards every sinful person who ever lives in this dispensation of His Grace.

    To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them;

    Not Imputing

    That is the truth.

Christ draws sinners to Himself, not counting their sins against them.

The sins are there, God knows all about them, but He does not hold them in condemnation.

Not a trace of rebuke, not a hint of judgment, no threat, no menace, or mention of the Cost.

He made it easy for us didn’t He?

Your sin was not a hindrance to Him.

And the instant you said, Yes LORD!

Your sins were gone forever, He rolled them off your shoulders, and came flooding into your heart without hesitation.

Never to leave or forsake you.

You were made a new creature in Christ, with a new spirit, a clean righteous heart, with the eternal life of God’s Spirit in your spirit.

This is the message of reconciliation we share with sinners until He comes.

    Have you got it?

    Do you want it?

He’ll do the same for you as he has done for countless millions down the centuries since the New Covenant was sealed with His Sinless Blood.

    Comfort Ye My People

Even the Prophet Isaiah, under the Old Covenant, could see this dispensation of Grace coming,

Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins.

    Is. 40:1-2 KJV

Oh how precious the word of God is, when we hear in the Holy Ghost!

He was telling us even then, through Isaiah, that he should address the Jews, and we should address sinners comfortably, reminding them that our warfare is accomplished.

Christ has won our victory once and for all!

If you are still struggling with sin and Satan you’ve missed the point.

Change your thinking, understand what the LORD has done for you, and you will walk in His Victory over all sin and devils.

    Your Iniquity is Pardoned

The Blood has already cleansed you of all your sin, accept that Gospel fact, embrace the new creature in Christ that He made you the instant you repented of unbelief in Him: Believe He has set you free.

No more captivity to sinful habits, no longer under condemnation, made the righteousness of God in Christ, where you live and walk as a pleasing child of Almighty God.

    Double For All Your Sins

Instead of the penalty of the Law of sin and death, the redeemed have received double blessing from the Hand of God: Christ won for us all the blessings of obedience under the Old Covenant (See Deut. Ch. 28) plus; all the blessings under the better New Covenant, where all God’s Promises are yea and Amen in Christ (2 Co. 1:20), with the Holy Ghost in us, and filling us to overflowing as living flames of God’s Fire here on Earth. Halleluia!

    Good News For Sinners

This is our ministry today, to reconcile sinners to God through the message of Christ, and the radiance of His Holy Fire burning in our hearts.

“Sinner, your sins have been pardoned, paid for in full once and for all: Come to Christ now, receive Him as LORD and begin to live as God intended before you sinned. He’ll make you new from the inside out once you Believe on Christ.”
