Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
1 Thess. 5:21 KJV
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
2 Tim. 4:5 KJV
The instant any believer on Christ is filled with His Spirit they have all they need to prove God’s words work: Christ in you.
If you have not received the Power Baptism since you believed on Christ, you will live an unfulfilled existence, and cannot complete the purpose for which your Creator made you; so Get Spirit-filled, and Stay Filled. It is the plain command of God.
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Eph. 5:18 KJV
May the LORD make every new believer and backslider reading this ravenous for all that He offers in salvation.
Old Babies
Fellowships are packed with immature Christians, who, despite knowing about Him for decades, remain mere babes in Christ, sipping only spiritual milk instead of Feasting on Strong Spiritual Meat. Heb. 5:12-14 KJV;
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Such babies have experiences, they have doctrine, and even a little faith in Christ, but are powerless to fulfil their purpose on Earth.
They are no more useful to The LORD for ministry than unweaned suckling babes.
When The Penny From Heaven Drops
But oh what a difference when a whole heart is yielded to the Holy Ghost, in order to demonstrate what Christ is like on Earth today: In you
The timid become bold, the weak become strong, and failures become overcomers.
They Did Exploits
That is what happened when the Holy Ghost was poured out on the day of Pentecost, Ac. 2:1-4 KJV;
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Halleluia! They received more than utterance in tongues, they received the same passion for souls that still fills Christ and Father’s Heart.
You and I believe today because they turned their world right side up.
You Will Also Do Exploits
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Dan. 11:32 KJV
They did it; without a printing press, without electricity, without sponsorship, and without hesitation.
What are you waiting for?
Word and Spirit Power
If you have not been effective in leading lost souls to Christ this week, it’s because you need the Baptism in the Holy Ghost: Get it beloved, and by the grace of God, you too will be able to prove the same words which Christ Himself proved.
He did it as a lowly Man, with nothing to depend upon other than the words of God, and as He obeyed those words, the Holy Spirit confirmed them through Him.
Jesus of Nazareth proved God’s words worked, under the Old Covenant: Father wants us to prove them under this far more glorious New Covenant of Grace.
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Heb. 8:6 KJV
I Will Dwell In Them
That is why He fills us with His Spirit, to be witnesses of Christ’s; resurrection, love, life, and power.
This privilege is not natural, and cannot be worked up, it is supernatural: When God’s Spirit fills your heart, you know it is not you doing the works, but Christ continuing His Ministry through you.
Begin now, proving Christ lives, demonstrating it by what you say, and what you do each day. Bubbling over with the life, love, and power of your LORD.
It is what we were designed, created, and saved for. AMEN!
