    God’s Three Witnesses

Here are some of the most profound verses in Scripture.

They relate to the centrality of Christ, so it is no surprise false-teachers and cults have abused them for centuries, claiming they relate to baptism.

They actually have nothing to do with water baptism.

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

1 John 5:5-8, Holy Bible, KJV

All of God’s word is majestic; nevertheless passages like this one evoke breathless awe in the Spirit-led believer, lifting them to the glories of Heaven itself.

Understand The Blood Covenant: Your life only starts when you discover what the Blood entitles you to. You’ll be thrilled and blessed as you read the significance of His Blood shed for you.

It is possible to understand the Fifth Chapter of John’s First Letter a million different ways, but there’s only one that is correct; God’s Way.

    The Believer’s Indwelling Teacher

The cults and doctors of theology revel in distorting, corrupting, and blaspheming God’s word, to deceive, and lead sinners astray. But praise God, He’s provided the perfect solution for every born again believer.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

    Jn. 14:26 KJV

Oh Halleluiah for the Holy Ghost who reminds us what God has said, and teaches us all things.

Christ promised the Holy Ghost would indwell every child of God when the New Covenant in His Blood was instituted, following His Resurrection and Ascension.

The seal of the New Birth, the presence of God’s Spirit in the believer’s heart, was not available under the Old Covenant.

Job, Abraham, and Moses didn’t have it; Joseph, Elijah, and David could only dream of it.

But today even the vilest sinner who believes on Christ will know the abiding peace and joy of the Spirit of God within, comforting and directing them in the way of righteousness.

When Satan sends his cults and false teachers breathing infamies into their ears, they have the anointing within warning them of the seducer’s lies.

These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

    1 Jn. 2: 26-7 KJV

    Even Angels

What a gift! No wonder angels long to look into such things.

Angels have no idea what it’s like to be brought from the depths of sin, into the Presence of God. (See 1 Pe. 1:12 KJV)

To be translated instantaneously from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of the Son who loves us, and gave His Life for us.

But every genuine believer in Christ knows.

How can they forget the rapture of that hour when the Lord Jesus Christ lifted the burden of guilt from their shoulders? When His Blood cleansed their filthy stains, the moment they repented and received Him into their heart.

    But you know don’t you?

If not: keep reading, respond wholeheartedly to God’s call, and you shall have it today.

    Power to Overcome

    Listen to God:

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

    1 John 5:5-8 KJV

    Dead Works

There are those who try to overcome temptation, and the sins of the world, by self-denial, religious rituals, ‘holy’ routines, and repetitive prayers.

Buddhist monks chant endlessly, and vow to give up over 200 sins such as; fornication, stealing, lying and so on. They are forbidden from touching a women, yet a leading Thai monk fled to America after being exposed as a regular customer in brothels. Numerous Buddhist monks have been defrocked for paedophilia, rape, and embezzling temple funds.

Supposedly celibate Roman Catholic priests are desperately trying to cover up their latest paedophile scandals. And a recent NBC poll in the US showed 58 percent of Catholic seminarians training for priesthood were sodomites.

Hindu gurus indulge in the most extreme forms of asceticism, in order to try to be rid of sin.

Muslims starve themselves during Ramadan; Shi’ite Muslims even beat their own heads with swords in an annual festival of penance.

    Power Over Sin

But there’s only one way to overcome the world, only one way to have power over sin; by believing that Jesus is the Son of God; God in the Flesh.

Trusting in Him, receiving Him, following Him, obeying Him, and loving Him.

    Led In Triumph

May God help you to see that it is impossible to sin as you follow the Living God. Christ leads in victory, not failure; in righteousness, not sin; in peace and joy, not torment and despair.

The second you are born again, you will have two things: eternal life, and victory over temptation and sin.

    Do you want those Beloved?

Turn to Christ, receive Him as Lord, and follow Him. You’ll also receive peace like a river and joy unspeakable. No amount of religion will ever give you that.

    On Rock or Sand?

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

He came by water and by blood. God says it, repeats it, then cites it in His testimony concerning Christ.

    Whenever God speaks, it’s important.

When He repeats a thing, it’s very important.

Indeed this is a vital foundation of your walk with God.

Be established on the Rock, not sand.

No wonder Satan endeavours to subvert it and destroy its power.

What is God saying? What does He mean by ‘he came by water‘?

False teachers say it means Christ’s water baptism.

    It Does Not

It has nothing to do with water baptism.

Ask the Lord right now to show you what He’s pointing out.

Is He reminding us here that; Jesus was baptised in the Jordan by John the Baptist to fulfil all righteousness, and begin his ministry?

That God the Father spoke from Heaven confirming that Christ was His Son?

Blessed truths though they are, God is declaring to us here an even more profound Gospel fact, one you must have; one you must tell the world. Oh I love it.

This is not something to play with; it’s God’s written testimony about His Only Begotten Son that every believer can personally confirm today.
