But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
1 Cor. 1:27-31 KJV
This is The Secret Place, the mystery hidden from mankind until the revelation God gave through the Apostle Paul.
No wonder Old Testament Prophets yearned to see what we have set plainly before us now in this glorious New Covenant scripture.
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus
All the written word is beautiful, but a believer can live on this short clause for eternity. GLORY!
Recall the moment it dawned on your understanding that you, of all people were now in Christ Jesus.
That revelation is God’s gift to His new born children, quickened by His eternal Spirit to our spirit, and we knew it was so from the inside.
No believer needs to be told that he or she is in Christ Jesus, rather they are busy displaying the fact evermore.
The Inner Witness
We know it by the Spirit within witnessing the very Presence of God to our spirit.
He wasn’t there when we walked in sin, but the instant we repented and believed on The LORD Jesus Christ in spirit and truth… in He came, by His Spirit, to abide and lead you in Glory.
It Is Written
You knew it in your heart, yet here it’s written down, enunciated in unequivocal English: Real meat for the hungry heart.
It’s true and verifiable: Not a metaphysical theory, wind of teaching, or religious puff of smoke, nor a mere spiritual experience: But God’s Absolute Truth in you!
Of Him
This is peace only God can give: Knowing we are in The LORD our Creator, The Man who is God, The Only Saviour of sinful man.
There’s more meat than a believer can absorb in those few words, but it gets better as a consequence of His mercy and grace to those who call on Him, and continually trust His Word.
No man ever dreamed of this: It is God’s doing from start to finish.
Has He done it to you yet?
If not you can have it right now.
Simply do what the Holy Bible says you need to do to become a child of the Living God, and Be Born Again.
Once you are born of God you will then understand Romans 8:1-2 KJV;
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Here the Holy Ghost declares the glorious benefits of being in Christ Jesus to which 1 Cor. 1:30 alludes.

- Father God will never condemn those who have truly believed on Christ.
- The believer has been set free from the law of sin and death.
- Believers now walk by the same Holy Spirit who led The LORD Jesus Christ.

As these Gospel Facts dawn on our spiritual understanding we delight to honour our new LORD and His Law of the Spirit of Life evermore.
What is the Law of the Spirit of Life?
It’s encapsulated in Christ’s words, Jn. 14:15, 15:12-14 KJV;
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
It’s no chore to obey Christ, it becomes the believer’s joy to live by God’s words.
Because we are now conscious of His indwelling Spirit, reminding us that we are in Christ Jesus, set free from sin’s power, able to keep our flesh under control and walk in divine life: By God’s grace and mercy.
Of Him Are Ye In Christ Jesus
Now embrace this truth, it’s crucial to a steady, victorious Christian life.
Of Him: Not you!
It was; His Idea, His love, and His Power that lifted you into Christ Jesus, and it is He who keeps you there.
Your diligent obedience thrills Father’s heart, but it plays no role in maintaining your status in Christ Jesus.
If you had any part in your redemption, it would not be Of Him, would it?
Try to grasp that clearly, and it will bring you to a new level of peace and security with your LORD.
Renew your mind, make your flesh submit to your spirit, and you’ll agree with God’s written word, that of him are ye in Christ Jesus: His idea, His doing, His maintaining.
