    That No Flesh Should Glory

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.

    1 Cor. 1:26-29 KJV

    Labourers Wanted

What a word for the weak, foolish, and powerless!

We are the perfect material the LORD is looking for.

What can He do with us?

    Anointed for Victory

    Confound the wise.

    Overturn the mighty.

Bring to nought, the princes of this world.

If you are wise, and talented; the LORD counts you out: Useless in His Book

He’s chosen the foolish, the weak, the base and despised of the world.

    Does that include you?

If so, God is calling you: Father needs us to complete His plan of salvation for the lost of this perishing world.

    It Is Finished!

The hard work’s been done because His own arm has wrought salvation.

All He requires are vessels bearing His message, filled with His oil, carrying His Fire to the ends of the Earth.

We venture, He supplies; authority, power, faith, guidance, and whatever we need.

You become the vessel, the jar of clay, radiating His light.

    Gideon’s 300 Dogs

Gideon heard and obeyed The Word, his handful of “motely-dogs” sounded their trumpets, smashed their pitchers, The Glory shone out, and The LORD wrought the victory. (See Judges Chs. 6 and 7 KJV)

It wasn’t Gideon’s idea; he tentatively followed God’s word.

    The LORD did the rest.

Israel’s mighty enemy became confused, fearful, and were defeated by the anointing of The LORD.

It’s the same for you and me.

Weak, foolish, rag-tag and despised puppies; we go bearing His message in jars of clay.

Broken at His touch, His Glory is displayed in our lives, and He leads us in His victory over every foe and weapon forged against us.

Take that to heart: It’s God’s way… your way.

It seems effortless, because it is: No flesh shall glory in His Presence.

Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

    Zech. 4:6b KJV

The LORD Jesus Christ has accomplished our victory, we have the joy of declaring it, and harvesting the fruit of His salvation.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

    Isa. 6:8 KJV

    Can you hear?
